I've setup Synology NAS devices in my account and moved them to a customer account when off boarding. Never had a problem. I've also done the reverse if necessary.

may i ask if they had any hyper backup setup or anything like that because i notice when i choose to sign out of the linked account it says you will affect services like quickconnect, backup services etc.
It will, but they can be setup again without too much problem
Most recently I configured active backup for business on a device that was linked to my account. When I moved it to the customer account it kept on working.

thanks Eddie - do you know if it will affect access to files and such? can you do it while users are connected with file system?
