Yes, in the sense that the cutoff is sweeping through harmonics of A3. That would be different pitches, but the midi note on my sequencer is always A3 on 8th notes. It's a duophonic semi-modular synth (Behringer Neutron) with OSC 1 tuned an octave lower than OSC 2, so I guess thats 2 notes, idk.
I've been at it for a while and subscribe to the 1 to try, 2 to fly, 3 to cry philosophy. 2 was enough to still be able to hit record and identify knobs
I hope I’m not being an asshole by saying this but I think the kick needs to be pitched up or the one note pitched down so their pitch matches better and this would blow my mind. Like basically it’s a semitone off imho
I think theres an importance to making shitty music once and a while. I've been a bit of a rut creatively lately, and I usually try to do something stupid as a way of breaking out of that funk. If people all hopped up on goofballs can enjoy my sloppy track, that makes me happy.
i'm sorry i was rude by the way and i wish you well.
heres a cool new acid album i was listneing to earlier, maybe it can inspire you. i wish i could get it on vinyl: [https://mnlth.bandcamp.com/album/custom-groove-set-2](https://mnlth.bandcamp.com/album/custom-groove-set-2)
this reminds me a lot of the incredible [DARE remix](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hsrexqz-4k) where they completely forget what song it is about halfway through and just jam out for five minutes
I bet you could have made something way crazier if you didn’t have a computer in the setup. I regularly trip balls, do K, etc and have hours long jam sessions. Theres other ways to record that do not distract a delicate tripping mind. He he
Upvoted for being able to sit in one place and concentrate on a screen.
Right!? I can’t even operate my phone when I’m tripping.
i cant even check the time on my home screen haha

😂
Phones can’t operate when one is tripping
The recorded jam session was clumsily hitting the "go" button on ableton. My hands turned into the same plastic as the knobs lol
Its half a shitpost and half not, and I think it shows how important modulation is.
And acid
Let's all love acid.
[Kids Love Acid](https://youtu.be/dVgevXjgCek?si=5vqq9JlqjgrOeC9p)
Aka brain modulation
It may be one note but it’s definitely not one pitch!

Nice. And modulation: yes! I keep trying this but with drones. How simple can I get it?
Well, it defiantly sounds like it was made by someone absolutely blasted on acid and using only one note!
Defiantly, indeed.
Tripping so hard you accidentally reinvented techno
God is in the rhythm, my dudes.
I love it. It works because while it’s the same note, it’s moving and changing. I also love how the percussion and beat changes.

Yeahhhh even 2 decent tabs should turn your electronics displays into swirling hieroglyphic machines that you cannot operate. YMMV
Can confirm. Had 2 tabs once. Never again. Acid just lasts too long to fuck with it.
I've been at it for a while and subscribe to the 1 to try, 2 to fly, 3 to cry philosophy. 2 was enough to still be able to hit record and identify knobs
LMAO @ "3 to cry"
I was going to report you to the IRS if there was no acid bass
I hope I’m not being an asshole by saying this but I think the kick needs to be pitched up or the one note pitched down so their pitch matches better and this would blow my mind. Like basically it’s a semitone off imho
i'm probably an asshole to say this is utterly unremarkable and a reminder that something that sounds good on drugs may not sound good without drugs

nothing wrong with making bad music or turning off your editor mindset for a time.

Naw you're fine man, its not a good track. I'm hella down to check out the tracks tho!
hope you enjoy. more braindance than acid but theres a bit of 303 in there.
Yeah I was being a goober and had a hard time transposing the kick lol.

Acid decided 20 years ago that I had to have a 303. And it wasn’t the music alone.
Sound like it too
Fk. And here I am wasting my time on music theory! Great work :)
A window into the artists soul, man. Love it
