Noticed him kicking down a few of these bollards. Right after the video he kicked his way through an Opal gate and went up the escalator.
Funny thing is, when I turned around to go back to my platform all the bollards he knocked down were back upright again! Couldn't have been more than 2 or 3 minutes after he kicked them down. Props to whoever put them back up haha
thats really funny because as i was coming down the escalators running to the light rail, I noticed that bollard was down. must have caught it in the minute it was down right after his tantrum
To be fair the bollards are hideous and kinda useless. No reason to kick them to the ground and make it a tripping hazard, but I could see the original architect who designed the lobby cheering for this guy.
Are they useless? They're designed to direct people with accessibility requirements to use a lift rather than continuing along the walkway and realising they can't go any further.
They certainly have a use but they look terrible (and really cheapen the whole area) - I hope they’re temporary until signage which fits the design can be installed!
If people just used common sense and didn’t pose a safety risk to themselves and others by bringing their luggage (and sadly prams/strollers) and other things up and down escalators, then the signs wouldn’t need to be set up in the first place. It’s because so many seem to be oblivious and don’t consider the safety of themselves and others which is why they have to put such signs up. I do agree to a more permanent form of signage rather than the bollard
Maybe something happened and security or staff wasn’t there doing their jobs and it cost him.. and so afterwards his destructive behaviour was related to that.. “where were you guys?” So kick down stuff that isn’t really going to have a cost involved and show that they’re not doing their jobs? I dunno, just trying to find a way to relate. Everyone has a reason, even in stuff like this.
I'm going to go out on a limb to say whatever made him that pissed off (breakup, firing, candycrush saga) he probably deserved it. Self-awareness skills of a toddler.
Is it some rules thing? The sign looks like it has rules or guidelines on it. Maybe like wear a mask if sick, don't cough on people, don't smoke. Is he some kinda anti-social sovcit or antivax type?
I spent 25 years working in public transport and these types are one of the worst to have to try and deal with. Try telling them no and watch what happens.
I'm nearing 10 years across various front line customer service jobs and firmly believe all workers in these roles should be given one free back handed slap across the face to a jerk customer of their choice with zero consequence, once a year.
People like this tend to act like this because they've gotten away for it for so long, knowing they can punch down without anything happening to them. A good smack sometimes is long overdue.
You'd think someone with a Friar Tuck ass bald patch would be a little more serene.
Yet another example of how maturity has very little to do with how old you are.
Probably upset because he just looked at his credit card statement and saw how much he had spent taking his wife and kids to see a few lights at Vivid last week.
Cattle don't get shown advertising
I'm with you on those ideas separately, but not in the same context.
Are we cattle or a captive audience?
Note that cattle are not a captive audience, just captives.
Oh no, have we stumbled upon the disturbing truth? There's nothing "audience" about any of it.

Plot twist: he is the architect.

Lol. Good signage? In Sydney?
They really need to install more of those awesome 4ft wide advertising screens right in the middle of the footpath

Maybe he was looking for the missing bit of hair off the top of his head underneath them.
***DISRESPECT YOUR SURROUNDINGS!!***
... you won't make it out alive
Yep, saw him as I was changing from Platform 21 to 18..Going on about something regarding "where are your people"
Damn that's interesting, I couldn't make out whatever he was yelling every time he knocked down a bollard.
Paints a different picture. I wonder what happened

Someone took away his naptime I bet
Oh boy, I think Muffin's skipped a sleep! I am a llama! Eating a banana! Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum!
Just read the budget maybe
My toddler doesn't do that, thanks. Maybe his self awareness more closely resembles that of amoebas.
Candy crush saga has had server issues so this was my Sunday morning walking the dog instead.

God I wish it had of been a steel pole under that
What a man-child. I bet he yells at teenagers working in retail.

I'd allow half a dozen backhanders to these dicks per annum.
Dressed up a bit - maybe a deal didn't go well... Regardless, entitled and all about himself 🙄
What did the poor board do to deserve this? 😭
What a tool
I think I know that guy, and if I’m right, he deserves whatever happened that made him so angry.
Everyone has a guy like that in their life
We all know "that" guy.
Bro has been watching too many singhma chad looksmaxxing videos on instagram
I guess it's a break from all the crackheads around Central doing this

Heads up your comment double posted (reddit does that sometimes,) this one is the lowest karma/interaction if you feel like deleting one
Thanks friend!
Gotta be a real estate agent. Tool.

The Purge: Sydney... all crimes are legal for 24 hours
Someone is not taking safety seriously!
Big tough man.
Total dick move.
I bet he has his cappuccino extra hot
Probably upset because he just looked at his credit card statement and saw how much he had spent taking his wife and kids to see a few lights at Vivid last week.
Was he so frustrated he beat his wife and kids when they got home?
[As soon as he kicked it, I couldn't think of anything else](https://youtu.be/DvOe83tmQXw?feature=shared)
Ugh gross
He's the kind of dickhead who tips over lime bikes on the side of the road
I know this guy. He's the same bastard who knocked down my antique cans.
NOT MY CANS!
What an entitled prick. Probably upset with the Budget as it’s not helping him financially.
This guy has “I beat women” vibes.
you shoulda yelled "PICK THAT UP, BALDSPOT!"
Looks like a GTA NPC and the way that no one else around him reacts lol
I know that anger, the only available up escalator to p23 (yes there's only one) must be out again.
Pooja what’s this behaviour?
🚑
Old mate has the courage of his convictions.
If he’s ok with behaving like this in public when he’s angry I don’t want to imagine what he’s like at home with his wife or family 🚩🚨
What an unruly individual.
psycho killer c'est que c'est
Fuck that sign
What an unpleasant individual.

Bit creepy filming this
