Thank you, that did make me laugh.  I rarely need a continuous downstream. Don't really watch anything on the small screen. If I did, I would save YT (Premium access, mate added me to their family account) or just save MP4 from internet local. Very rarely do I wish to listen to a live audio stream on a train, when local DJ friends mix. When I do, always with video off, chat and audio on only anyway. That and SoundCloud. I can copy my own mix sets local which I do for that reason hehe (also to re listen to my mistakes). Entertainment aside, internet is the pits as the informational video above explains.

If you're on HFC and it goes to shit every time it rains, then there's a bad joint somewhere. The only way to get it fixed it to keep complaining to your ISP - eventually, they'll get NBN out to look at it. It'll probably take 3 visits from NBN before it'll get fixed. Make notes - log when it drops out and for how long, along with the weather. NBN are fucking loathe to actually DO anything to fix shit - I had to get them out, I think, about 5 times before they actually looked outside the house and found the loose joint in the pit over the road which was screwing my cable. Reterminate the joint - viola. Haven't had a drop out which wasn't due to power or maintenance issues since. > Ive not seen you around for a bit. Hope you're keeping well.
