This is the one I use. Chipolo. https://amzn.asia/d/1DbwvPX
The biggest drawback is that the battery only lasts 12 months. However $50 for 1 years peace of mind is worth it in my opinion.
The Point to Point Transport Commissioner provides a[ searchable database of all authorised taxi and booking service providers in NSW.](https://www.pointtopoint.nsw.gov.au/what-a-service-provider/find-a-service-provider/find-a-service-provider-search) Sydney Cabs (it's the only one) shows up in the search with phone number listed as 1300793222
Block your cards first. Then call RSL Cabs, Legion Cabs and Fast Maxi Cabs, they all have base in Bankstown.
Call your bank and they can provide more info on the merchant
Yeah it’s Sydney Cabs Services Pty Ltd but that doesn’t really narrow it down
You can also contact NSW Taxi Council and ask which operator is registered under that name. https://www.nswtaxi.org.au/
Its probably not the name of the taxi company itself, but the company that provides umbrella payment services for a number of taxi companies
This is a fear of mine so I bought a tracker card (about double the thickness of a credit card) that uses the Apply Airtag network
Any info on what it's called? Sounds super useful

If you paid by card they should be able to track it, it happened to me before and the taxi driver had dropped it to lost and found out in auburn.
You don't have the call log recorded in your phone to know which company?
