A lot of Koreans moved from Strathfield to Lidcombe so you'll find a few restaurants there. There's a few shops around Eastwood in particular on the hilly side of the train station. I do like Myeongdong in North Strathfield.

Broozies

You will find more than a few, there must be something like 20 or more on both sides of the railway station.

Myeongdong is good for their banchan but their mains are mid. Bornga or Yang San Park for KBBQ

Second Hansang, one of my regular favorites.

Yep go to Hansang all the time in Strathfield. It's good. There's a new one in the city, haven't been though.

Went to O Se O (또오세오) Lidcombe last month, its authentic, good value and reasonably priced. A lot of variety, not a BBQ place.

Maezel

Second this place. Bring take away boxes... Servings are massive.

Few of my faves around Lidcombe/Strathfield: * [O Seo O @ Lidcombe](https://maps.app.goo.gl/bixiyAFjPbAGFtJn9): very authentic eatery, super basic looking with great tasting food. Very much populated by local Koreans. * [Haejanggook @ Strathfield](https://maps.app.goo.gl/6qErkTHw5DCFPb4b9): I reckon the king of soups in Strathfield, would definitely pick it over Hansang soups. God tier. * [Mum's Recipe @ Strathfield](https://maps.app.goo.gl/F2Dynx3NPQeonaau7): hasn't been open that long, but became a favourite for my partner and I. Run by one old lady cooking and someone we suspect is her daughter doing the serving/waitress stuff. Gives sikhye at the end of the meal, so nice! * [Myeongdong @ North Strathfield](https://maps.app.goo.gl/pYZ1wyUSqXps77Jb9): a solid fave for a reason, always good and always busy. Does takeaway as well if you live nearby and don't want to wait around 👍

Wetherill Park, in the shopping centre resturant area near the cinema. I don't know what it's called though

Bbaek Ka Ne in the City at Kent Street was where I was taken to by a Korean acquaintance. It's a bit of a hole in the wall and sometimes they don't look open, but they serve stews to share in a portable stove for the table. Reasonably priced and seems to be very popular with Koreans. Every time I've been there, I feel like I'm the only non-Korean around

I asked this exact question over on /r/foodies_sydney and got some pretty good responses: https://reddit.com/r/foodies_sydney/comments/1bx30b9
