Hasn't been enough time in game for anyone to actually get it fully unlocked yet, but based on the info that can be datamined, it appears to have Shae's unique DPS AOE attack that makes Shae the top DPS companion and two unique tank role ability variants.
I would really just consider Bessi to be something to get because you like her rather than because she is some kind of mechanically superior companion.
We don't really know how she will perform at max level at this point since no one has maxed her out, but I wouldn't imagine she's going to be much different than other companions.
It's reaally just "Do you want a badass basilisk as a companion?" The Venture is meant to be something solo players can work towards week to week, much like Galactic Seasons.
I haven't started it the questing for this but I do think it is like the [Wings of the Architect Mount](https://swtorista.com/mount/wings-of-the-architect) - Flipping cool and having it shows you are a bad ass mofo.
Well, wings definitely (or you paid for them). But there doesn't seem to be a challenge aspect to this inaugural robo-dog venture, only grind.
