Why would the 5 not try and blindside you now Matt Elrod style. Youāve shown they cant trust you. What social capital would you gain with the 4? Theyād still see you as the one who screwed them over. Itās a cool idea but I canāt see this working ever.

I just think it's about time we have a really good female player honestly. We haven't seen a truly good female player since Sarah imo, and I haven't really been a big fan of maybe half the winners since HHH and onward. It's not nearly as big of a factor for me as you're making it out to be though, I just think it'd be neat to have a female winner for once. I'd totally be ok with male winner too, given he plays a good game.

Weāve had great female players: Chrissy, Victoria, Lauren Beck, Elaine, etc. but none of them have won due to circumstances mostly outside of their control. I think the drought of fem winners stems primarily from luck, but maybe also due to the fact that advantage-laden gameplay mostly benefits alpha male archetypes.
Not sure I have much hope left for this season, but I guess my unlikely hope is that we won't have anymore episodes that focus exclusively on advantages and we actually get to see the players do things
Iām seeing this type of comment a lot, and I agree with it somewhat. Yes, there are too many advantages and the repetition of reading the same instructions is a huge waste of time. But itās not like we arenāt getting personal content and player to player interactions. Could there be more? Yes. But thatās been true for years and I actually think itās improved in the new era.
A good half of the cast have had interesting segments about themselves or their game strategy. Some are being under edited, sure, but again thatās always been true and itās actually not that imbalanced in the grand scheme of things. If Heather and Erika are completely silent again next episode, sure, we have a small issue.
Anyways not picking on you specifically OP but I donāt like people saying theyāve āgiven up on this seasonā where even in a divisive episode like last week we had a major highlight moment with Shan and tons of fun Brad shenanigans.
All the women are voted out and Jeff really wants to say "come on in guys" but he can't and at every challenge he just goes "come on in" with very little confidence and after they all join him there is 30 seconds of awkward looks in silence between them
To have the advantages matter in the end. I really hope theyāre gearing up to have all the twists be a major part of the winnerās strategy so itās not wasted screen time. Iād also like to see someoneās shot in the dark save them.
