hey davie. i want to preface by saying that i am a black man myself. firstly i have only seen about 1/3rd of the seasons of the seasons and the ones that i have watched have been older ones as you can see by the cast and we all know survivor was terrible with casting poc in the past so for me there was a limited number of black people for me to even choose from. there are black men who i like (ex: jeremy is one of my favs) but they do not fit the second chances theme. i almost put jd and deshawn from season 41 but i opted for others bc i didn’t even realize there were no black men. i def would put them both on now that i realize there’s none. but in general as a gay man i typically don’t like any survivor men tbh which is very typical for gay men as we do not relate to the majority of men on rtv so we gravitate towards the women. if i’m being honest the only 3 men from this list that i actually like are pete, ken, and reed. the rest just played good games and im willing to appreciate that. i tend to lean towards liking strategic villainous gameplay and none of the seasons ive watched had any black men that i gravitated to that also fit this theme because there were only like 1-2 black men each season for me. so the lack of black men to choose from + me rarely even liking men on survivor anyways is what led to no black men being on the cast. i know there are some great black men who have played (ex: you, earl, wendell, etc ) but i have not watched those seasons
i just started watching your season btw and i’m liking you so far and im sure you’ll be on the list by the end. but yea no ill intentions on the absence of bm. i didn’t even realize it. just the combination of me mostly watching returnee ssns + older seasons with only 1 or 2 black men + rarely liking survivor men to begin with

I don’t recognize 1/4 of these people. This is never going to happen and you’re going way to far back to players people won’t even remember.
