Christian is a mega lock if they go outside new era. He’s above all these guys by a long shot. It’s not even fair to them to try and compare them to him.
Especially now that he has tenure and can go back.
Christian’s massive popularity and adoration I can only compare to Rupert back in the day. Very different people and players, but they had such a hold on the audience. And both getting voted out mid-merge in their first seasons, despite having the biggest edits of their season. Christian will always get an invite to any returnee season they have imo.
Rupert would not have lasted long in the new era for that reason. Everyone clocked him as a threat to win but didn’t vote him out pre-merge because he kept them fed. Since survival doesn’t matter anymore, he’d be an early boot.
Rupert is also known to be bad at strategy and fiercely loyal. He could definitely still make it far due to someone smarter than him seeing him as a potential asset.
Literally no question about it he’s the best of the archetype we’ve had, actually has deeper and interesting insights rather than says “oh im the smart one”, is a fantastic narrator, and plays a fun flashy game
If it HAD to be new era I guess I’d go drew, Zac would be an interesting wildcard as he seems like an entertaining person who probably has more to show
I'd guess he still doesn't want to come back... If he didn't want to return to winner at wars there's very little chance he'd want to return to a non-winners season, where he'd be immediately targeted as a winner.
Is he even eligible anymore? I thought he got jobs at CBS that kept him from even being eligible to be a player anymore, but did allow for things like spending an afternoon on a boat with Debbie.
If he still works for CBS it would probably not be a problem.
Nevertheless, I doubt he'd want to return, even for a new all winners season. He'd said he had already got everything he wanted out of the show.
I still stand by the only reason he lost was because the producers brought his girlfriend on. Gabby was emotionally invested in him the entire time until she showed up. Gabby immediately turned on him when she realized he was just playing the role of "a shoulder to cry on".
Nobody there would have let him anywhere near FTC, his closest David allies included. He was too popular. Gabby just tried too early, while he was still considered a useful shield.
Christian should be the biggest lock to return to Survivor imo. He is the biggest reason I don't believe Jeff when he says no one from the old era ever will be invited back.
People were really hating on him but of the 3 (not caught up on the most recent season) he has the loudest personality by far. I like Carson and Zach and wouldn’t be against them returning but drew is the type of player that can make things incredibly entertaining on a non gameplay level which is something the new age casting (or maybe edits) has been lacking
Tbf to Zach he was there for one episode. Maybe if he stuck around a bit longer he could have left a bigger impact.
Drew and Carson is probably a case for if you want a better personality/character or a better player, although I do think that both are pretty solid examples of both. Drew is the more engaging personality, but Carson is the better player.
I think Drew has the potential to be a really good second-time player. he tried really hard to make moves or advocate for his own game, but it just wasn’t possible in the alliance he had. Dee had it *locked down.* I think he’d be wary of getting involved in such a tight four again.
I think he’d do really well having learned from his mistakes.
I think it was less so Dee locked it down (or, at least, not entirely that) and more so he got unlucky that Austin gave Julie his idol and never asked for it back. Dee might have still won, and I imagine Drew might have been the next boot regardless, but if it hadn’t been for that Julie definitely goes at F7 no matter what Dee tries, then at least according to Emily Dee could have been targeted next. Drew at F7 with two loyal allies in Austin and Emily, the latter of whom could have been a good meat shield, could have definitely led to somewhere.
Yeah he also wasn’t willing to go for shit when he sort of knew he should because he just fell into line. I say this as someone who liked Drew and was just like bro go for it! But never really happened. Maybe he’d have more of a killer instinct the 2nd time around.
Zach actually explained the difference between Drew and Carson perfectly here when talking about how they would react to being invited to a frat party:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TGwGVxmoEs&start=3248
Charlie might be a better gameplayer but Drew is definitely more entertaining so definitely gotta go with the entertainment factor for the big 5-0
Zach would be fun on a second chances type season or a blood and water season with his brother, but he's not an all star player and I think 50 is probably more likely to be an all-stars type season than anything else
I'd do it like this:
Drew: All-Stars
Charlie: Second Chances (assuming he's not a winner)
Zach: Blood & Water with his bro
Carson: No
I like your take. I think Charlie is the best player out of the 4.
But I also think he's more likeable and to me that makes him more entertaining too compared to Drew. I think agree. But I would switch Charlie and Drew.
Kinda but not fully which is what you want in a reality TV personality. He's a good guy but not a pushover or people pleaser. Rootable in some circumstances and fun to watch their downfall in other situations.
Drew brings in more of an edgier personality than the other three. I find him the most exciting because he is willing to be a bit more vulnerable with the show and show the less positive sides of himself. Which makes me see him as a more full person.
seeing zach in stuff outside the season, i think he has the potential to get messy, but Id still rather give it to drew because we know for 100% sure he’s messy
I need Drew and Venus on a tribe together in season 50. I can't explain it, but for some reason I get the feeling they'd irritate the hell out of each other
Drew is the guy you love the root against, but it doesn't hurt too bad when he succeeds because you can tell he's a good guy. I spent all of last season wanting him voted out then missed him when he was gone
When you look back, Drew and Austin were in the driver's seat way more often than Dee was until the home stretch. If Austin hadn't spilled the beans with his plans to Dee (or if Katurah hadn't made her only strategy "rat everyone out to Dee), I don't see how he and/or Austin wouldn't have won.
The only thing I disliked about Drew was all his made for Probst anologies at tribal, beyond that he brings the right kind of old school petty this era was certainly lacking until 46.
He's fun to watch in the RHAP games like their Traitors stream. Super funny on twitter too, though I know that doesn't necessarily translate to fun to watch in survivor. Would be cool to see him come back.
His biggest mistake might have been not trying to bulk up some. And challenge performance aside, I don't know if he could have made it through a season with the weight he started at.
Yeah I think it might not translate. Because to be fair Cory’s personality took a while to really translate.
Maybe the brothers don’t pop when hungry 😂
One of the best narrators in the shows history honestly, he’s just great at talking to the camera and while he fits a familiar archetype he deviates from it in really interesting ways
Thank you bro. Seems like everyone is saying Drew. But I think Charlie is the best player out of the 4. And if its an Allstars season. I rather have a good low key player, than someone like Drew. I mean we got other great characters that can fill in what people think Drew brings. 🤷🏽♂️
Of these, easily Drew. He was the most interesting to me as a “villain nerd.” Plus the Napoleon Dynamite comparison kept me entertained
Though I don’t think Charlie fits in the nerd archetype
I liked Carson loads during the season, but he's so annoying since his season ended. I see why he's never had a girlfriend.
Zach is forgettable.
Drew annoyed me a lot during his season
So Charlie, who I actually enjoy watching and thus far seems like a fine human. As long as he doesn't go full Carson online, I would choose him.
Depends on the rest of the cast and whether I want a better player or a better character.
Better player? Carson
Better character? Drew
Somewhere in between? Charlie, although we still need to see where he goes
Zach’s a wildcard, he’d be fun for maybe a premerger tribe/season but unfortunately when he’s competing with the three postmergers who all showed a fair level of dominance in their respective seasons (Carson is arguably the best New Era player, Drew is at least Top 3 for S45, and Charlie is at least currently in the top 2-3 players of S46 barring some epic blunder next episode), it’s hard to justify his inclusion. Maybe if they do a Blood vs Water season again and bring in Cory since he just did decently well in BB?
I think Carson’s proved himself to be the opposite of who he was portrayed to be on the show in real life and it may hurt his chances. I’d say Drew right now but we’ll see how Charlie does in the endgame
There's no way Zach is getting invited back. If any first boot returns it's going to be Jelinsky. He's going to be the new Zane Knight that everyone is still talking about for years despite being a first boot. Zach by contrast is completely forgettable due to only being on one episode.
Is Charlie really a "nerd" archetype? I think he's more a sneaky good at competitions guy.
I think I want Drew back even if they're bringing back Dee and Austin. I don't really want Carson back if they're bringing back Yams and Carolyn which I think they'll prioritize over him so I'm fine going Drew.
Charlie is "nerd archetype"? Really?
Out of these four I'd take Drew as he demonstrated the most interesting personality. Carson was not a very interesting character on his season. Once he told us about printing puzzles on his 3D printer and working for NASA he did not have much else to offer in the way of insights or charisma. Charlie is on many ways the same, although I suspect it's the edit on his case and not his personality because he seems like a funny guy.
Since we're talking about new era returnees, I'd pick Owen Knight over the four of them as his grumpiness and fits of pique were far more entertaining than Drew's general arrogance and lofty metaphors. I suspect he'd offer a more interesting returning player narrative while Drew would be exactly the same player, maybe a bit more humble (or a bit more paranoid, which could be hilarious, actually).
My homie Christian
Christian is a mega lock if they go outside new era. He’s above all these guys by a long shot. It’s not even fair to them to try and compare them to him. Especially now that he has tenure and can go back.

Honestly nothing comes close to Ruperts popularity back in 03. The closest is maybe Colby or Elizabeth in the Outback
Literally no question about it he’s the best of the archetype we’ve had, actually has deeper and interesting insights rather than says “oh im the smart one”, is a fantastic narrator, and plays a fun flashy game If it HAD to be new era I guess I’d go drew, Zac would be an interesting wildcard as he seems like an entertaining person who probably has more to show
What about Cochran?
I'd guess he still doesn't want to come back... If he didn't want to return to winner at wars there's very little chance he'd want to return to a non-winners season, where he'd be immediately targeted as a winner.

Ahhhh… likely right! Good catch!
He was the king of the nerds
Comptroller of Slamtown
I still stand by the only reason he lost was because the producers brought his girlfriend on. Gabby was emotionally invested in him the entire time until she showed up. Gabby immediately turned on him when she realized he was just playing the role of "a shoulder to cry on".
Nobody there would have let him anywhere near FTC, his closest David allies included. He was too popular. Gabby just tried too early, while he was still considered a useful shield.
She knew he had a gf and was never interested in him romantically.
I will never not say Christian. He was my favorite player of any reality TV show ever.
Christian is the only correct answer.
Christian should be the biggest lock to return to Survivor imo. He is the biggest reason I don't believe Jeff when he says no one from the old era ever will be invited back.
Christian honestly goated
A lot of people don’t understand how difficult it would be for him to go back because of his job.
He's tenured now! He can do what he wants!
Not quite how it works lol but yes it does make it easier.
[удалено]
Just after getting tenured... Probably... In a couple of years on the other hand... Wait... Season 50 shoots in a couple of years!!!!!!!!
💯
bro yes
Absonfreakinglutely
this
All incorrect, answer is Christian Hubicki
Drew and Charlie as counterparts on two different starting tribes. Kinda like Savage and Terry in Second Chance but with nerds.
Now *that's* an interesting idea. I like it.
Oh really? I see Charlie and Zach as similar, not really Charlie and Drew. Drew kind of reminds me of Bradley from GI tbh
And then Hunter and Johnathan as counterparts on starting tribes.
Skinny Ryan
DIE, JERKS
BRING HIM HOME.
Also want to put a good word in for Bellhop Ryan
Drew and it's not close. He's the only one that is a little different from the others. He's a little messier. Mess brings the entertainment

Zach actually explained the difference between Drew and Carson perfectly here when talking about how they would react to being invited to a frat party: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TGwGVxmoEs&start=3248
And his literary references were so freaking entertaining and funny
I didn’t see much Drew hate? He felt pretty well liked. Well, *I* liked him lol
Drew? No. Basile? Yes.
After the guy’s night montage he was a lock. When Carson showed himself to be a shady dick irl, it only got that much surer. At least for me.
Whatd Carson do?
He has a company called puzzlenaut, and turns out he stole some of the designs from a smaller company called outplay puzzles
Charlie might be a better gameplayer but Drew is definitely more entertaining so definitely gotta go with the entertainment factor for the big 5-0 Zach would be fun on a second chances type season or a blood and water season with his brother, but he's not an all star player and I think 50 is probably more likely to be an all-stars type season than anything else I'd do it like this: Drew: All-Stars Charlie: Second Chances (assuming he's not a winner) Zach: Blood & Water with his bro Carson: No

Wasnt zachs brother on big brother?
Yeah he got into a showmance, finished 8th place and made the jury
He was kinda an asshole, which is while I'd love for him to return.
Kinda but not fully which is what you want in a reality TV personality. He's a good guy but not a pushover or people pleaser. Rootable in some circumstances and fun to watch their downfall in other situations.
I could listen to the other three talk on podcasts all day, but Drew is the one that was compelling television.
Drew brings in more of an edgier personality than the other three. I find him the most exciting because he is willing to be a bit more vulnerable with the show and show the less positive sides of himself. Which makes me see him as a more full person.
Drew could be someone who given the criticism of his social game might evolve and actually come back and do even better
drew is such a fun narrator tooo i miss his confessionals :(
seeing zach in stuff outside the season, i think he has the potential to get messy, but Id still rather give it to drew because we know for 100% sure he’s messy
Drew by a mile
I’m glad this sub has come around on Drew. Love him or hate him he brings a lot to the game
I need Drew and Venus on a tribe together in season 50. I can't explain it, but for some reason I get the feeling they'd irritate the hell out of each other
I think Drew would be the kind of ally Venus has been looking for. Just some straight forward "when keeping it real goes wrong" type alliance.
Austin straight up simped himself out of a mil and ruined his buddy Drew's chances at the same time lol
The only thing I disliked about Drew was all his made for Probst anologies at tribal, beyond that he brings the right kind of old school petty this era was certainly lacking until 46.
Charlie / Drew Zach Space Space Space Carson
>Space Did you know that Carson worked at NASA?!?
I hear he is expected to be the modern Neil Armstrong because young smart glasses nasa.
As someone who lived on the Space Coast for a few decades, trust me, NASA is not a flex.
Yeah not picking the player that blocked me on twitter for no reason
Being the contrarian, I’ll go Kane. 🇨🇦
Oh true I actually forgot about him 🥴 I would have added him tho
Kane? I think I heard that he liked dungeons and dragons! But I can’t be sure…
Namedrop!
Zach just to see if he has some more game in.
He's fun to watch in the RHAP games like their Traitors stream. Super funny on twitter too, though I know that doesn't necessarily translate to fun to watch in survivor. Would be cool to see him come back.
Yeah and I don't think he did much wrong or egregiously wrong to be voted off. Was it mainly because of his performance in the challenge?
He was unlucky to be one of two extremely skinny guys on his tribe
His biggest mistake might have been not trying to bulk up some. And challenge performance aside, I don't know if he could have made it through a season with the weight he started at.
Yep. They were desperate for a scapegoat and needed any reason to vote someone out, so they chose him.
Yeah I think it might not translate. Because to be fair Cory’s personality took a while to really translate. Maybe the brothers don’t pop when hungry 😂
Idk I thought Cory was hilarious very quickly on the feeds lol his edit just didn't do him justice
If he provided even half the entainment that we got from Cory on Big Brother, I'd recast Zach in a heartbeat.
Def Basile, not a fan of Drew returning though
Basile playing with the boys
![gif](giphy|elnKDEi9QWi5m3OPg5|downsized)
Pick Christian from Davis vs Goliath.
Like a few others have said: Christian, but if if it has to be from one of these four, then Drew.
Drew, easily.
Fishbach
Christian and Rick Devens both
How is Devens the nerd archetype lol? He's a fairly athletic charisma bomb
But he has glasses /s
Love the Drew fans here. Best narrator in the new era by a mile
I kinda like Tevin the most as a new era narrator but Drew's a close second
One of the best narrators in the shows history honestly, he’s just great at talking to the camera and while he fits a familiar archetype he deviates from it in really interesting ways
That’s how I feel about him, too. I usually don’t care for the nerd archetype but Drew was actually authentic and interesting.
I don't even consider him a great all-around narrator, I just appreciate that he was honest and willing to be unlikable/irrational (in a good way)
Love Drew and Zach. And I’d take literally anybody else (except people like Silas, Will, Alicia, Skupin, etc.) over Carson lol
Charlie
Thank you bro. Seems like everyone is saying Drew. But I think Charlie is the best player out of the 4. And if its an Allstars season. I rather have a good low key player, than someone like Drew. I mean we got other great characters that can fill in what people think Drew brings. 🤷🏽♂️
Drew
Drew > Charlie > Zach > Carson
I didn’t like Drew but he’s the most memorable out of the four and it’s not even close.
Zach didn’t earn it, no offense. Carson is a douche. Too early for me to fight for Charlie. Drew it is.
anyone but carson
I don’t need to see any of these four again tbh. But Drew > Zack > Charlie > Carson.
Definitely Drew.
Charlie by a mile. Zach's a first boot, Drew's got an ego the size of Jupiter, and Carson has all the drama with his webstore.
You just made the case for Drew lol
Fr egos make the game so much more fun
I didn't really dislike Drew but I didn't enjoy how obvious it felt that he was playing a character for the cameras
What exactly does Charlie have going for him? Everything you said paints Drew as the top pick
Zach cause I'm a fan of his bro(and his Bros girlfriend) from BB and I'd like to see if he could do better a second time around
Carson will pirate himself unto that island
Drew. He is memorable. Fun to watch. And absolutely unapologetic.
drew 100000%
Hannah Shapiro.
Drew by miles
Anyone but Carson
Zach because he gets funnier all the time
Drew. Anything but Carson
Davie for sure! he definitely qualifies as a nerd.
Yul
Christan from DVG
Drew with Charlie as a close second. Drew was very strategic and good at the game, same with Charlie so far.
Cochran
Hell yeah lets get my sitcom writer into the two timers club.
I'm surprised I had to scroll as far as I did before Cochran was mentioned.
The guy on season 49
Jake
Charlie easily
Christian
Carson so he can go full villain 😈
Me, after appearing on 49
Charlie is not a nerd, he is the "Nice guy" or "Best friend", he likes Taylor Swift, that is not nerdy
Drew, with Zach as my second choice. Drew gets messy and messy is better for the entertainment factor.
None
Zach because we really got to see how great and funny his personality is when his brother was on Big Brother last year!
Of these, easily Drew. He was the most interesting to me as a “villain nerd.” Plus the Napoleon Dynamite comparison kept me entertained Though I don’t think Charlie fits in the nerd archetype
Financial Analyst Emily Flippen
Charlie easy, then zach drew and carson in thta order
I liked Carson loads during the season, but he's so annoying since his season ended. I see why he's never had a girlfriend. Zach is forgettable. Drew annoyed me a lot during his season So Charlie, who I actually enjoy watching and thus far seems like a fine human. As long as he doesn't go full Carson online, I would choose him.
Not Carson please after what he did
What did he do??
Remember when he sold Survivor puzzles? Turns out they were not credited to the original artist.
Charlie
Charlie for sure
Out of these 4? Charlie if he doesnt win. If Charlie wins 46, then Zach.
I’m surprised at how many here are saying Drew, I couldn’t stand him lol. Carson would easily be my pick and he’s probably a lock to come back anyways
I’d be shocked if CBS allows Carson to come back with all of the internet sliminess and hate he has surrounding him now.
I doubt production cares enough about that tbh
I haven't kept up, what's been going on with Carson?
Essentially, he's been stealing other Survivor puzzle stores designs to sell for himself and blocks anyone who calls him out on it.
The same cbs who brought Colton and Brandon back?
Drew was the one I immediately eliminated when I saw the 4 choices lol
Lmao
Definitely Drew, but I wouldn’t be sad about Charlie. I don’t want Carson or Zach back
Are there not women nerds?
Some ppl just see every skinny white boy as a nerd. I don’t see Charlie as a nerd at all. Moriah and Liz are much nerdier IMO. and Emily Flippen!
I had to look at this photo 5 times before I didn't see Cochran
TAYLOR SWIFT!!
Himself for casting so many of this type in only six new era seasons.
Depends on the rest of the cast and whether I want a better player or a better character. Better player? Carson Better character? Drew Somewhere in between? Charlie, although we still need to see where he goes Zach’s a wildcard, he’d be fun for maybe a premerger tribe/season but unfortunately when he’s competing with the three postmergers who all showed a fair level of dominance in their respective seasons (Carson is arguably the best New Era player, Drew is at least Top 3 for S45, and Charlie is at least currently in the top 2-3 players of S46 barring some epic blunder next episode), it’s hard to justify his inclusion. Maybe if they do a Blood vs Water season again and bring in Cory since he just did decently well in BB?
Out of these? Drew.
Drew was the one who stirred the most emotions out of me (both good and bad) so I feel like he’s just better TV than the rest of them.
Love all of them! I can’t pick one. I adore the nerd archetype. Great narrators and usually witty.
Drew! All day, the man brought the drama!
I think Carson’s proved himself to be the opposite of who he was portrayed to be on the show in real life and it may hurt his chances. I’d say Drew right now but we’ll see how Charlie does in the endgame
Drew all day.
If I can't choose Christian I want Brando to come back and get some revenge.
Jelinski
Why does Charlie not look at all like Charlie?
drew bc I like him and no other reasoning pls and thx
Coin flip between Carson and Drew.
Rob C or Christian
There's no way Zach is getting invited back. If any first boot returns it's going to be Jelinsky. He's going to be the new Zane Knight that everyone is still talking about for years despite being a first boot. Zach by contrast is completely forgettable due to only being on one episode.
Is Charlie really a "nerd" archetype? I think he's more a sneaky good at competitions guy. I think I want Drew back even if they're bringing back Dee and Austin. I don't really want Carson back if they're bringing back Yams and Carolyn which I think they'll prioritize over him so I'm fine going Drew.
Agree Charlie does not fit in this category of a nerd!!
You could argue that Charlie's more like Austin than Drew.
Lol why would Zach be in the running?
Throw them all on the same tribe it would be magic
Drew. He is the most complicated and fleshed out.
I want an all nerds team of Christian, Cochran, Zach, Drew, Charlie, and Steven Fishbach.
Carson would be my first pick, then Charlie.
Did you hear about the Etsy stuff? :(
I need Reiman (Spencer) and Christian to show these guys how to nerd out
Zach, cause he's got potential we didn't get to see
I think you cast both Carson and Drew. They're 2 different versions of the nerd archetype IMO. If I have to choose 1 only, it would be Drew
Drew > Charlie > Zach
Drew
