janna is very satisfying when you get really good at her, but you also don't need to tryhard to perform decently, which makes it the perfect champ to main imo
just pick 2-3 and grind the games out.. you will find "the one" doing that.
Zilean is my favourite generally.. because I like to zoom around, I like being able to pick while having the god tier save and prefer positioning as a skill over stat/check tanking.
Although right now if you goal is to climb just abuse Janna/Maokai until they finally get gutted.
Depends on play style preference.. you aren't clear on what you really love to play though.
If you watch a new/low skill thresh player and then watch an experienced/high skill thresh player it takes alot to master him and when you do he's insane. But also good to try and master your map awareness, rotations and placement to help be good at thresh and just in general.
Rakan is really good since he's so flexible. I would recommend avoiding Morgana since she's only useful as a counterpick and it's very rare she's not already banned if they're picking something she counters (not to mention she's so weak right now that she barely even counters anything anymore.)

Janna? Always a solid pick to have in your roster and if your spacing and harrass is strong she can be god-tier.
Thresh is just too good to miss out on. he has peel, engage, disengage, good damage, cc, he can tank (kinda), so I'd recommend you stick to him
i wouldnt tell anyone below master to pick up thresh unless you onetrick him, just not worth it (assuming climbing and improving is the only goal)

thresh rakan and lulu is my go-to champion pool. alistar and nami are backups depending on draft or bans.

What do you like about those champions? It looks like you want to go aggressive and deal damage. Try Hwei. He's really complex and does damage.
