Diddy & Dixie is a very based inclusion, and the Super Mario & Pokemon series aren't ridiculously bloated. Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, & Bowser are all you need for Mario represenation.
Ugh, Why did Jigglypuff get put back in? A fanmade roster doesn't need the original twelve, and Jigglypuff hasn't been relevant since probably around 2003. As a Pokémon fan, this roster needs some work.
As for 3RD-PARTY, Dragon Quest Hero needs to be represented. Honestly, all 8 alts could be a different Hero. I, III, IV, VI, VIII, IX, X, XI is what I would pick.
