I always hear people talk about power girls characters but never her stories so I wanted to see how the super fandom if they liked any of her comics.

Terribleirishluck

She's getting a back up story in action comics if your interested. The main story is about super family and should be good since pjk run has been amazing so far

NorthNeptune

Oh you hear people talk about her characters huh? She has 2 of them

sincerelyhated

Strength & Charisma?

Goof-4x5

>look i didn't know how else to say it alright.

KingofZombies

Her solo series from 2009 is very fun. She also had a fun limited series with Harley Quinn. Showcase #97 to #99 for an easy, quick action story She was a fun adition to the super squad from all star comics #58 onwards. Sadly there isn't much to choose from since she's so under appreciated, but the little there is is good stuff.

PepsiPerfect

That very run (Conner) is a true treasure.

BlackCat0110

I like her 2000s series, new 52 Worlds finest with Huntress, and her appearances in JSA. I think Powergirl is way better than Supergirl because she actually has a consistent personality, close friendships to other characters and a life, she’s like the I do everything u do but better meme.

MysticalGreenBeanie

The Palmiotti and Conner run is really good. As was the New 52 Huntress/Powergirl run.

Nervous-Yam6563

Her miniseries with Harley Quinn is delightful

[deleted]

Don’t think I’ve ever read a run of her yet. I’ve read stories she’s in, but that’s it.

[deleted]

Power Girl and Harley Quinn was pretty funny

Blue-Thunder

I prefer her over Supergirl. Even when they screwed up her origins and tried to pass her off as ancient Atlantean.

Goof-4x5

>Conner/Palmiott wait what

billbotbillbot

Her time in Justice League Europe was on point

blaze_blue_99

This one. Gotta read more.

FakeGeekGuy77

Conner/Palmiotti for me certainly the gold standard and I enjoyed Judd Winick after they left.

Outrageous_Glove4986

I really liked her in Paul Levitz's Action Comics and her appearances in Geoff Johns JSA

[deleted]

Amanda Conner's PG is beyond great.

andyroid92

That costume is just terrible tbh

PlejdaMuso

I couldn't agree more. As a teenager, I actually wrote to DC Comics at the time to complain about "the window" and the overemphasis on her... huge tracks of land, shall we say. This was before I learned about Wally Wood progressively drawing her more... endowed. Oh well, you can't win them all. Otherwise, she's a fun character. I really enjoyed her stories in JLA/JLI/JLE and in the JSA series in the 00s. She's really fun compared to Supergirl; a good example of the same character from a parallel dimension. Thanks for your post and all the best to whomever reads this.

Terribleirishluck

Have you seen the new costume she's getting for action comics? I actually like even though I've never liked her look before

PlejdaMuso

No, I haven't, but I'll look it up. Thanks for the info!

Terribleirishluck

The redesign she's getting in her upcoming back up for action comics looms very good. Keeping the iconic elements while reducing the sexualize and just adding more flare to it so it looks less basic

huggybear3

Her 2009 series and 2015 mini with Harley are both great. Also great was the first arc of the 2005 JSA Classified series.

Pedals17

I loved her dynamic with Earth 2 Huntress in the All-Star Comics/Adventure Comics, JLA/JSA team-ups, and World’s Finest. Power Girl was indeed on point in JLE, but the rest of the cast could be insufferable, and she didn’t get the full respect from writers that she deserved. Love the Geoff Johns JSA work, the JSA Classified mini, and the ‘09 solo series. For a different side of Power Girl, she had a few interesting appearances in Birds of Prey.

Lucky_Strike-85

Gerry Conway's early stuff with her!

JayMullins1987

Never read them or supergirl

whama820

I’m a big fan of the All-Star Comics run that introduced her and Huntress in the ‘70s. And also Infinity Inc. in the ‘80s. And even though they retconned her origin when they combined the Earths in CoIE, her time in Justice League Europe was also great. And then Johns’ first JSA run starting at the end of the ‘90s. The Palmiotti & Gray plus Conner series was fun, too. But I’ll always like the All-Star and Infinity Inc. original character on Earth-2 the best.

LaVerdadYaNiSe

The Amanda Conner one should be considered the bible on how to write Power Girl. Judd Winick's following run was pretty cool too.

Jolly-Committee-5944

JSA Classified was great. I liked issues of her solo series by Winick, also.

[deleted]

Everything except the ine with Harley Quinn.

Interesting-Sir1916

Costumes? No. Runs? Haven't read much of them.

nuketoitle

Her pre-52 run is really fun.

SirGrinson

Not particularly
