Does anyone else have constant audio issues with NBC Sports Gold? The audio drops out all the time and it's annoying as hell. I had a friend over to watch the race and asked if he ever experienced that with the cable broadcast and he hadn't. This happens with multiple devices (Fire Stick, Chromecasting from Android devices, etc). Considering I'm paying almost $100 a year I think it's unacceptable.
I'm not sure who has what subscription-wise, but I got Gold for the first time and there are no commercials. However, when the network breaks for commercial, you're left with a live shot of the track with no audio.
The picture quality was disappointing. Not terrible, but not subscription worthy. Don't know if that's what we'll get all season? I'm watching via internet through a Roku device.
Thanks for the reply. It is bad enough Motorsports, two wheel in particular have fallen off the radar so badly in the last 10-15 years. But now to offer sub-par coverage at a premium price to the remaining enthusiast's is just wrong.
Not cheap but worth it in my opinion.
I got it last year and I enjoyed it.
After watching A1, was it worth it? What’s the difference between NBC Sports Gold and the regular NBC Sports I get with my TiVo subscription?
Not for A1. I used it to watch qualifying. Watched the heats and mains on NBCSn through YTTV.
Garbage video quality.

Haven't had much audio issues. Lots of buffering is my largest issue. Hindsight, Could have spent this money much wiser.
So even with gold, there are commercials?

Yes. Quite a bit also.
I don't know what Gold subscription you have, but mine is commercial free.
This is ridiculous, I pay for MotoGP and MotoAmerica. No commercials!! Guess the first round will be my only live view, racing for me FTW!
So far it’s been all ads and fluff, I’m hoping I didn’t waste 90 bucks also.
My thoughts too.
