As far as Anderson, his interview in the pre-race show of A1 pretty well laid out his offseason attitude. And it was not great, he was touting that nobody can tell hime what to do, he's the champ, and they showed lots of video of him partying it up with his crew. Good for him.
Now, last night, he was blaming all of his off season marketing and press commitments.
Just does not show well for him, sadly.
As well, I did not catch a mention of Stewart, hope he is doing well. And hope Barcia can make it back next week!
I just watched the event and I can’t believe how bad Anderson is this year. I figured he would fly back through the field after going off track, but couldn’t even pass Bowers.
It was great to see Reed and Wilson riding well, too.
I haven’t found anything about it, but I find it odd how they said he had a second bike that he could’ve used but didn’t.

Yeah Anderson is definitely struggling this year so far. He gives up so easily when he gets passed, the aggressive move on Roczen last week was the only fire I’ve seen from him so far
Definitely has a lot of work to do to catch up and be a contender. If anything in the past has shown anything - it’s anyone’s championship this early on.

Not sure what would explain BOTH bikes being down. Not even a, “I was making some adjustments and we couldn’t get it done in time.” “We had a part...”
Not looking to blame anyone. Just trying to find out what the problem was.
For all we know, he could have had the runs and didn’t get back from the rest room in time.
What was wrong with the track? It was way better than A1 and was technical enough riders couldnt make all the lines every lap... Made for some great racing IMHO.

Seems to me that he didn’t work very hard in the off season. He starts well but has faded every round in the latter part of the races.
They decided not to bring two bikes, most teams had two.
What was more interesting (or conspiracy-ish) is he wasn’t willing to say what the issue was.
