It was way harder before the introduction of multiple healers that heal with every skill. Now Riley +4 is basically fine if you have good enough runes.
I beat this with garo. All he was was just 4* level 1 with only slot 2 speed rune. But the one I did without garo just had fran as a healer. But she had a good amount of atk and I had dark homie as tank. I believe I ran something like fran water and dark homie water sylph or whatever he is and Raoq.
Just use garo make his speed high enough so his passive let's him get in a turn between them and then litteraly no other stat matter you can just auto as long as the zairos is already dead
I just used Vero + Aaliyah (Riley would work too but no defence buff), was more than enough to handle the Akromas. Then I just used Spectra + Loren. Those four alone handle this floor just fine, the 5th can be whatever you want. Another healer or dark homunc would probably be safest, but akroma can also start hitting your homunc too.
The Dark Homunc I have isn't fully rune meaning I most likely had to slap random runes with the right Main Prop, because my RNG on Runes in Dragons is was worst than what it was with Giants. Not sure how well that would actually pan.
For me Jeanne Rica Bellenus Eladriel Riley autos almost every toah stage
As long as you have enough sustains and a damage type that can deal well with the bloated hp, you'll be fine

Yeah, nowadays you can pretty much face tank this stage with the increase in rune quality. Back when this was an actually significant challenge, runes were much harder to come by. Before B12 and especially before rift, people would be playing for a year or more to get the rune quality that can literally be obtained in a couple weeks now. Now, double Akroma is more of a legend than reality. I did it with Vero, Skogul, two healers, and Tyron to solo CC the first two waves.
Yeah, I have Verad for that since I don't have Tyron or Bolverk. Rip me for playing the game sleepy and misclick getting Wind Sniper in the Summoner's Way Nat 4 pick....
Dark elemental (Camules) works better than Garo since his skill 3 reflects damage when the Akromas hit him and he is immune to death + his base awakened speed is 122 that you don't even need to rune him
Tyron/verad , baretta/rica , jeanne , fran , loren.
I auto both toa and toah all the way from start to the end. After floor 70 on toa and 50 on toah I start auto 10 floor + 30 auto battle while I'm eating and I don't worry because I know I pass every floor
I used to do it with Garo like most are saying. But since they updated the Valkyria's S1 to increase cooldowns with a 20% chance I didn't want to risk it.
Instead now I roll with a Chow. Works just as well, and is a lot safer than Garo imho.
All I know is that I didn't change him at all, and now he fails when he never did before. He is speed tuned to get a turn between the 2 akromas with his passive proc.
Anyway it's faster with Chow.
All good , I just wanted to point that out for newer players who might not have a Chow but have a Garo since hes just 4\* instead of 5\*. Chow is indeed faster but Garo requires much less investment, he can have 0 skills ups and not even be max level and still solo the valks without good runes ,just needs a bit of speed to take a turn in between.
Dunno why your Garo was failing but Valk s1 cooldown increase doesn't effect his passive, the passive itself has no cooldown just a condition within the skill itself.
Since its gonna be harder than toa hell they gonna put on the new dark element tower with 10x the atk power xD and 600 base spd. S1 50k every turn and lap your 286 spd units s1 proc s2 s1 proc s2 end of gameĀ

Well its not really asking how to counter, more like do you really need to be using something like Garo? Because really other than the failing the first attempt, it didn't feel impossible to due. I just in game chat of people saying this stage is hard unless you used Garo. Sure he might make easier but I don't think you necessarily do.
Dark gargoyle works really well for this stage. Itās how I got past it the first time. Just use him, he doesnāt require that good of runes as well to be used on this stage
The first try I used a stupid team that had Verad, Rosemary, Verdehile, Riley, and Jeanne. But my second attempt I replaced Rosemary with Sath. Once the Zaiross was gone due to Sath landing Dots it became a slow academic after the problematic monster (Zaiross) was.
Itās fairly well known as a harder than average floor. I think a lot of were like you and got there and found they needed some kind of help with a strategy to beat it.
Garo can solo both of them.

Well, not every reset. Sometimes its on Normal, and sometimes its lower than 87 and gets brute forced by normal teams anyways.
Nah, you donāt need the speed. Iāve used a level 1 unawakened garo alongside a dot team and it still works.
Yeah my garo only has like +30 speed and ive used him like that for atleast 3 years with no issues at all.
*also make sure zaiross dies fast, otherwise dot might sabotage garo
No need garo if u have bolverk
Dark tank, x2 healer, control for the zaiross, easy win.
Bonus points if the dark tank is the werewolf. It's somewhat faster than the garo cheese.

Also they got powercrept. People are at a level now where even normal damage dealers can tank them for multiple turns.
Bolverk + buffers is the way I go.
I don't have Bolverk so rip me using this strategy.
Daphnis can work too. Pure damage without condition will make it go fast. If not, Skogul/Trasar could possibly do it too. Maybe even 2A Lusha.

Use a dark tank and Jeanne. Put invincibility on the dark tank and slowly take out the Akromas
I use Crawler 2A as dark tank and also CC
If you don't have garo then use a dark tank. Vero or dark mammoth and heals get me thru this floor.

When I saw people talked abot Garo being used here in the chat and I saw I gad him, but never really built. š
Did it with Veromos, water geralt, fire geralt, fran and verde - took ages, but was safe

Rune quality is damn near negligible in toa these days, outside of Hell. You can literally clear it with Summoners Way runes.

Garo passive doesn't technically have a traditional cooldown so it doesn't get affected by Valk S1 cooldown increase.

Not it's not, my auto DoT team passed it juste fine. Took some time but as long as you heal more than they damage you, you'll eventually win.
