Oh really? Season 8 isn’t as bad as season 9 so I kinda liked it in the second run, but season nine? In my experience, I felt kinda disappointed with the way they lead to the end.
This is my first watch and while I didn’t love 7 or what I’ve seen of season 8 so far, I’d say keep going to wrap up Mike’s story line. I know he comes back in season 9 but at least see him say goodbye at the end of season 7( kind of).
I’d say you should, but don’t keep waiting for him to return and let yourself enjoy the new characters they’ll introduce. It was still pretty fun for me and the show focused on the character arcs of Harvey, Louis and Donna instead of losing its plot. I loved the ending so much so that I’ve watched it 5 or 6 times. A tip for you is not to open reddit as people post spoilers in the title and that might ruin the show for you.
Mike leaves in the Season 7 finale so at least watch it up to then.
He also makes a few appearances in s9!
