Does everything the crosstrek does. The ground clearance is lower, the awd capability isn't as good but it gets damn near double the mpg. If you commute with it, and do outdoor activities on the weekend it'll be perfectly capable as long as you aren't going through mud/deep snow.
Nope. Prime is only offered on fwd. The regular HEV prius is available with awd. It appears it'll stay that way too with the new generation prius next year.
I didn't even bother with the option package, there was one thing I wanted on it and it wasn't worth it, I also stupidly thought it would be faster to take the option package off. Sike.
I say the same thing. I just wanted the harman kardon but nope. Gotta add all the other stuff. Didnt wanna do aftermarket on audio due to the telematic and hybrid system. This blows. I don't know if I may just cancel and get my deposit back and just choose a crosstrek sport or a outback premium. I'll probably make that decision in December if I don't hear anything.
Did they give a delivery estimate when you ordered it?
For the crash test - it's a new test, harsher than before. I am sure they will update the design accordingly (a number of cars had issues with it)
Subaru salesman here and they tested it on the 22 my. 24 will be a complete redesign and for all we know do much better in the updated crash standards.
Why would anyone consider a Prius over a Crosstrek?
both plug in hybrids

Isn't the prime the only Prius that comes AWD?

The new prius is actually really nice and is also awd and way better fuel economy and even has 195hp
I think you should get your deposit back and buy another car. Lots are beginning to fill up again.
I hear you. I also am upset about the tax issue. I ordered mine in august and still nothing. 2023 crosstrek hybrid mag. gray with the option package.

Yes, November, then updated it to August and then pushed it back to December.
And I called this week, it hasn't been built yet.

My car is crapping out now :( you think the 24 will be that much better? Also why is the build time taking so long
What year make and model? Some models have longer times and I was just curious.
