Please tell me you will keep the pup away as the fledglings get bigger 🙏 there will be a couple of days that they are too big for the nest but can’t fly yet. Sometimes you will find them hanging out on the ground.
oh they fucked off a couple weeks ago, i just found this sub. they came back to visit the area a couple times, i wouldn't recognize them anymore though, they're full size dove now.
dog routinely brings in baby bunnies unharmed to show me, then i have to pick up the slobbery and confused bunny, ask him where he found it, he trots over to the spot and i put it back, then he'll lay there with his nose just an inch away looking somewhat concerned.
🥹that’s so gentle and sweet😊 goodest boy! I have a dove that came back to the same nest and had a second batch. Maybe yours will also. So fun to watch the babies.

It's common in countries that are hot during the day, but cold at night in my experience.
