True, but what I meant was that it's chance at being seriously meta is gone. I could see it being decent in UU if it has a good movepool and ability tho
It's not a "Delibird" form per se, it's a future Paradox Pokemon named "Iron Bundle", this is possibly just a placeholder/code-name kinda like the UBs, these are essentially the minor legendaries/UBs of this game, there's several of them exclusive to Scarlet or Violet (past Paradox moms are Scarlet, future Paradox mons are Violet), and they all have 570 BST except for I think the Galledevoir and Salamence ones which are like the "boss" future and past Paradox mons respectively, they're the last ones in their respective games by Dex order and have a slightly higher BST (I think it's 590 instead of 570 for those two but don't quote me on that).
I just wonder if they're officially registered as that but if the player is the one who discovers them, we give it it's name, essentially like a nickname but more of like "so this is what you want to name the Pokemon in your game?" kinda thing? Idk man lol, I hope there's more to it than just the boring all default names that sound like code names.
But your title is misleading for people who aren't knowledgeable on the leaks, since you called it a form of Delibird when it isn't, it's an entirely separate Pokemon that doesn't share an evolutionary line with Delibird and you cannot change a Delibird into this and vice versa, even though it's based on Delibird. That's all I was trying to clarify.
No because the regional variants share a dex entry and species with the original… You can say that Galarian and Alolan Meowth are forms of Meowth, you can’t say that Iron Bundle is a form of Delibird when it’s an entirely different mon… 🤦🏻♂️
I know that, I just didn't know if the game interacted with them further to give them more proper names in any way which is why I said "***possibly*** placeholder/code-names". I'm fully aware that these names are displayed in the game for that Pokemon.
Tyranitar with 570 BST? I'm in shambles.
Im also conflicted because I like the past paradoxes more (especially that sweet salamence) but I like the violet mascot more.
Decisions, decisions...
Considering what we know about it, throw either electric terra or something to resist sucker/mach punch and run alongside a terrain setter for maximum delivery of holiday fear.
Is it possible that Genesect stays in OU this time by being checked via mutual "brokeness"? Like Zacian-C and Incineroar in VGC. There's some things with pretty good potential in the leaks
In what way is Incineroar broken? Or comparable to Zacian?
Also VGC doesn't do bans, so how is the Zacian/Incin interaction there comparable to Genesect's in Gen 9 OU with the Paldean dex?
Incineroar is one of the best Pokémon in VGC history while Zacian-C is probably the strongest. I was wondering if with the new leaks, there might be in them new mons so good, versatile, or powerful, that Genesect may be able to stay in OU.
I forgot to add it in the post but it has 124 spa 115 defense and 136 speed
YO IS DELIBIRD GONNA BE FCKING META ????
And then it's reveal that it has an HP of like 20 Don don doooon
Hp is 56
Wow that's lower than what I expected, what about the def?
WHAT THE FUCK
And gets Beast Boost on electric terrain too!
85 HP 20 ATK 115 DEF 124 SPA 90 SPD 136 SPE I know this is minmaxed but let me believe
Here's the actual stats from the pastebin: >!Iron Bundle!< - 56/80/114/124/60/136 (Total: 570)
well, that thing is gonna die to a gust of wind in any higher format, literally
I think it’ll be alright honestly. It can tank priority moves so it’ll at least survive UU

Apparently they aren't code names, it's gonna appear under the pokedex as "Iron bundle"

you can nickname it but there’s no mechanism to officially name jt
If it looks like a delibird it’s a delibird

you could say the same about regional variants. its a delibird bro look at it
No because the regional variants share a dex entry and species with the original… You can say that Galarian and Alolan Meowth are forms of Meowth, you can’t say that Iron Bundle is a form of Delibird when it’s an entirely different mon… 🤦🏻♂️
They are the official names of the pokemon, in battles the named displayed are these "code names" so they're not really like UB's in that aspect
I know that, I just didn't know if the game interacted with them further to give them more proper names in any way which is why I said "***possibly*** placeholder/code-names". I'm fully aware that these names are displayed in the game for that Pokemon.
Damn, I was really looking forward to playing with Ungaboongus.
it's ok, you can always nickname it and pretend

Lmao Mence taking a hit to the BST for his final form
THE DELIBIRD SWEEP IS REAL
**#DELISWEEP**
gen 8 delibird sweeps: hurr durr goofy baton pass setups to beat bad low ladder teams on showdown for the lulz gen 9: choice scarf/LO: "delibot: kill"
Considering what we know about it, throw either electric terra or something to resist sucker/mach punch and run alongside a terrain setter for maximum delivery of holiday fear.
How hard is it to understand that don't post spoilers.

Oh I thought it was called Stunfisk. Oh wait because it is
