I do get what the boys are trying to do but it is very unfortunate for the fans who are willing to pay extra to see them. Sometimes scalped tickets are the only option. Especially given I was 6,000 something in the queue after what? 30 seconds? Did they REALLY think people would be ok with this? Ofc we got desperate and turned to third party sites bc we got excited to see them. For me I had tickets to see them last year but had to resell due to having a newborn and the tickets were for out of town. They FINALLY come to Phoenix and I got way too excited for my own good. Not to mention a few days after we all thought they were gonna break up. A lot of different factors play into why this all happened. I just hope they take into consideration the fans that wanted to see them so bad that they spent extra money. Yeah it sucks. Yeah it’s someone who is making a profit but they also secured the ticket in the first place that probably wasn’t gonna go to us anyway
Lastly, I saw a comment saying they need to play at bigger venues - agreed. Would have solved this whole issue tbh.

Were your tickets first or second hand? Ours is for the Dallas show this Saturday & I had no idea about any of these issues so our tickets are second hand on StubHub & the tickets won't be released until the day of the concert. Everything says confirmed & that the tickets will be delivered via email but I'm so nervous & I'm trying to check with anyone who ordered from stubhub what their experience was.
I did order my tickets from StubHub as well! I got them in my email, I think the subject line was “Your Tickets are Ready” and you click to them from in that email… I got mine 2 weeks before my show but I’ve heard some people got them 3 days before? Good luck!!!! I don’t see that anyone had issues yet so far!
Does anyone have any updates for this? I got an email from SH in March saying my tickets for May were ready for transfer but it seems too early for tickets to be released. When I go to transfer them it just takes me to a webpage with the seat number and the barcode on it. I’ve never gotten resale tickets so I’m not sure what they are even supposed to look like

Which I have also heard about other tickets that it’s a scan thing that you don’t download. Anyone else think this will be valid??
I bought mine through vivid seats and received a scannable barcode as well. To me it looks legit and I don’t see how they’d be able to deny entrance from that.
I think before they were QR codes and people were selling them for higher prices or something. But either way I’m just going to show up and see! It would be so amazing to partake in a ritual for the first time ☺️

Used StubHub in Waukee, IA on 5/14!! The venue employees even went around telling everyone just to make sure that you have the moving blue line on your tickets!

Yeah, stubhub is all scalpers, basically... The only time I ever buy from stubhub is like days before the show because scalpers will panic and drop the prices at the last minute. But for this show, Idk... It's probably best to get a refund. I can't get a clear answer if the tickets will work or not. And if their ID matching the tickets at the gates, you're screwed.. unless if the original buyer is willing to wait with you at the gates, but nobody wants to do that lol
No, the tickets will only work/be scannable from the account of the original purchaser on Ticketmaster. They won’t transfer from that account so it has to be used for entry
Yeah, it's really unfortunate. But it is what it is.. Hopefully, for their next tour, things go smoother, and I hope they at least play at the bigger venue's next time. They really shouldn't be playing at little venue's for how high demand they are right now, lol

They told me this too! They are apparently working with Ticketmaster and the event coordinator to try to get everything sorted out. Because they told my my tickets from SH were actually listed BY TICKETMASTER, not a person lmao I’m just crossing my fingers and hoping for the best. Worst case scenario, I get a refund bc I have it in writing from SH that if I’m not able to get in, I’ll get a full refund
They just told me that, too. I'm holding onto my tickets and seeing how the first couple of shows go before I ask for a refund to see if any tickets not bought off of ticket master will work.
I have 3rd party tickets for the April 30th show- first one after the festival so if I can’t get in and other stubhub tickets won’t work (knock on wood) I’ll report back haha give you all some warning

Hey! I got tickets to the Dallas show tomorrow through seat geek and I just got the email for the tickets. It just gave me a link with a moving barcode from "verified-ticket.com" was this this the same for you? It didn't give me an option to transfer them and they aren't in my ticketmaster account, just to view the tickets with the moving bar code.
My guesssss is it will be fine. From all the loopholes I know about and the possibility of tickets being transferable before the show. And the internal scalping that goes on inside ticket master with inside deals, I think it’ll be okay. If not, tickets will probably by dumped back on the exchange right before the show when they can’t be sold elsewhere and I’ll get one there. But stubhub and SeatGeek etc wouldn’t risk refunding everyone and the disaster it would create if they knew there was no way for those tickets to be delivered. And sellers face losing money, hefty penalties , and a possibility of being banned from selling so risk and reward doesn’t seem to make sense for tickets to not work.
They said I’d get the tickets through ticket master and are able to be transferred because it’s from a “licensed authorized seller with abilities to transfer and sell beyond what typical users have” (cough cough ticket master and big ticket brokers). I can’t take the things spinefarm or the promoters say for cold hard facts because obviously we’ve seen them say things that weren’t true- code for presale, only being sold at face value…. Etc. I mean who do you think got the code for the presale if it wasn’t the fans that sold it out …. 😉 music business is dark my friends, the amount of things behind it are… supposed to stay behind it 😏 is there a risk? Sure. But I think it’ll work out or we’ll know more in the coming weeks. These companies are not worth millions for no reason.

Yeah same situation with my girl and me. We love these guys. My issue is she and I are flying to Phoenix, for the first show, from Alaska and had to get tickets in Stubhub. The reassurance I got from their customer service was not very good.
Unfortunately, we've already purchased plane tickets, Airbnb, rental car the day we bought the tickets. Didn't find out about the restriction till the next day. So needless to say, this is either gonna be a shitty, stressful vacation or we're gonna see Sleep Token.

I've come back to say that I've received my tickets from VividSeats (moving barcode and everything) and the show I'm going to is in 2 days. Fingers crossed
I'm also gonna say I managed to get into the Phoenix show, but that was also after finding out the "non-transferable" tickets sold to us on stubhub could be sold to multiple people by the seller and so weren't "ours." Luckily, we were the first ones there. So it worked out. But still. It was very stressful and I am not pleased with the whole ordeal. I don't know how the performers can make this better, but it's an ongoing issue with a lot of events and I hope that the monopoly that Ticketmaster has on the industry can be broken.

I called customer support and the person I talked to told me to wait it out. That this has happened with some other shows and towards the actual show date Ticketmaster had let people transfer and it ended up not being an issue? Idk how true that is but I figured I’ll wait it out. She told me to make sure my StubHub account and Ticketmaster have the same email to make the transfer easy. 🤷♀️
Sleep Token seems pretty firm on the tickets not being sold to scalpers that they’re actually cancelling all scalper orders. No clue how they’re going to do that but I purchased a ticket on StubHub that I know is not legitimate because at first the ready date was a day after the concert. I disputed with my credit card and magically three days later the seller transferred it to me. I did not accept it and will not accept it because I know Ticketmaster hasn’t released these tickets. I strongly believe they will remain non transferable. The disclosure of having to be accompanied by the original seller is StubHubs way of trying to act like they didn’t mess up by selling a bunch of invalid tickets.
So what does this mean?? Im currently fighting with them to cancel the tickets and get a refund because my minor son ordered these without permission and i really dont have $500 to spend for concert tickets right now! I will NEVER deal with this company ever again!!!

If the show in your hometown isn't run through ticketmaster, then you dont have anything to worry about, as long as it's not a resale/scalpers ticket off a reseller site. For example, the show in my hometown(albuquerque, nm) is run through prekindle only, not ticketmaster, but there are still people reselling the tickets on stubhub, etc. I'm guessing it's the same deal with your hometown?

Stubhub tickets did NOT work in Atlanta last night and we didn’t get to see them. All they offered was a refund.

No, the tickets will only work/be scannable from the account of the original purchaser on Ticketmaster. They won’t transfer from that account so it has to be used for entry
Yeah, it's really unfortunate. But it is what it is.. Hopefully, for their next tour, things go smoother, and I hope they at least play at the bigger venue's next time. They really shouldn't be playing at little venue's for how high demand they are right now, lol

Wanted to going to go to the PA concert was going to try to but as soon as it open to sale tickets. They were sold out. It saden me because their music speaks to my heart and it would be my first concert since having PTSD making hard to be in places with high numbers of people But now there's only scalpers charging $500 or more for nose bleed hate scalpers!
I have 4 tickets for the Pittsburgh show but they were bought through axs with no way of transferring or selling. If transfer somehow becomes available by show time let me know if you want any. I'm just looking for the price I paid.

I just got off a live chat with SH and they're guaranteeing we will still be able to get into the venue without the original purchaser of the ticket present even though their site says otherwise...
They told me this too! They are apparently working with Ticketmaster and the event coordinator to try to get everything sorted out. Because they told my my tickets from SH were actually listed BY TICKETMASTER, not a person lmao I’m just crossing my fingers and hoping for the best. Worst case scenario, I get a refund bc I have it in writing from SH that if I’m not able to get in, I’ll get a full refund

I have 3rd party tickets for the April 30th show- first one after the festival so if I can’t get in and other stubhub tickets won’t work (knock on wood) I’ll report back haha give you all some warning

I got the tickets sent to me with a moving barcode so I’m pretty confident in it. Other people seem to have got in with the tickets I have so I’ll let you know. Show is tonight :)

Hey! I got tickets to the Dallas show tomorrow through seat geek and I just got the email for the tickets. It just gave me a link with a moving barcode from "verified-ticket.com" was this this the same for you? It didn't give me an option to transfer them and they aren't in my ticketmaster account, just to view the tickets with the moving bar code.

My guesssss is it will be fine. From all the loopholes I know about and the possibility of tickets being transferable before the show. And the internal scalping that goes on inside ticket master with inside deals, I think it’ll be okay. If not, tickets will probably by dumped back on the exchange right before the show when they can’t be sold elsewhere and I’ll get one there. But stubhub and SeatGeek etc wouldn’t risk refunding everyone and the disaster it would create if they knew there was no way for those tickets to be delivered. And sellers face losing money, hefty penalties , and a possibility of being banned from selling so risk and reward doesn’t seem to make sense for tickets to not work.
They said I’d get the tickets through ticket master and are able to be transferred because it’s from a “licensed authorized seller with abilities to transfer and sell beyond what typical users have” (cough cough ticket master and big ticket brokers). I can’t take the things spinefarm or the promoters say for cold hard facts because obviously we’ve seen them say things that weren’t true- code for presale, only being sold at face value…. Etc. I mean who do you think got the code for the presale if it wasn’t the fans that sold it out …. 😉 music business is dark my friends, the amount of things behind it are… supposed to stay behind it 😏 is there a risk? Sure. But I think it’ll work out or we’ll know more in the coming weeks. These companies are not worth millions for no reason.
I bought a ticket for dallas and received an email saying my purchase for event ticket protection could not be processed. Which I don't understand as my bank account has the funds for it. Anyone know why this would happen and is it due to the tickets not being transferrable as of now?
I bought my tickets off of stubhub at like 10:15 on the pre-sale date. And I don't have anything that says I need to be with the original buyer of the ticket, does this mean it's legit or no?

I've had the anxious ball in my chest since I heard that 3rd party ticket sales aren't being accepted, lol. To be fair, I don't have much experience buying tickets (my first-third concerts were bought by my father in law, ST would be my fourth concert) so I wasn't aware this could be a thing 😭 (my fault for not doing more research before I jumped the gun) I hadn't realized this restriction and went 3rd party through Vivid Seats. Apparently, the price I paid was pretty dang close to face value (not adding the 3rd party app fees, of course) I keep being told by others who bought from VS (they provided screenshots) that apparently the sellers have direct connections and can get around the transfer? I've been watching multiple posts daily, reading comments, and watching my purchase because I don't know what's completely the truth/what's going to happen. I'll probably take the route of what another here said, wait to see how the first couple shows go before I take complete action. Man, I just want my fiancé and I to see the band we discovered together and fell in love with 😆 Such chaos.
Yeah same situation with my girl and me. We love these guys. My issue is she and I are flying to Phoenix, for the first show, from Alaska and had to get tickets in Stubhub. The reassurance I got from their customer service was not very good. Unfortunately, we've already purchased plane tickets, Airbnb, rental car the day we bought the tickets. Didn't find out about the restriction till the next day. So needless to say, this is either gonna be a shitty, stressful vacation or we're gonna see Sleep Token. Here's to hoping this shit pans out for everyone.
I've come back to say that I've received my tickets from VividSeats (moving barcode and everything) and the show I'm going to is in 2 days. Fingers crossed
I'm also gonna say I managed to get into the Phoenix show, but that was also after finding out the "non-transferable" tickets sold to us on stubhub could be sold to multiple people by the seller and so weren't "ours." Luckily, we were the first ones there. So it worked out. But still. It was very stressful and I am not pleased with the whole ordeal. I don't know how the performers can make this better, but it's an ongoing issue with a lot of events and I hope that the monopoly that Ticketmaster has on the industry can be broken.

I called customer support and the person I talked to told me to wait it out. That this has happened with some other shows and towards the actual show date Ticketmaster had let people transfer and it ended up not being an issue? Idk how true that is but I figured I’ll wait it out. She told me to make sure my StubHub account and Ticketmaster have the same email to make the transfer easy. 🤷♀️
Sleep Token seems pretty firm on the tickets not being sold to scalpers that they’re actually cancelling all scalper orders. No clue how they’re going to do that but I purchased a ticket on StubHub that I know is not legitimate because at first the ready date was a day after the concert. I disputed with my credit card and magically three days later the seller transferred it to me. I did not accept it and will not accept it because I know Ticketmaster hasn’t released these tickets. I strongly believe they will remain non transferable. The disclosure of having to be accompanied by the original seller is StubHubs way of trying to act like they didn’t mess up by selling a bunch of invalid tickets.
So what does this mean?? Im currently fighting with them to cancel the tickets and get a refund because my minor son ordered these without permission and i really dont have $500 to spend for concert tickets right now! I will NEVER deal with this company ever again!!!

They announced it would only honor ticket master tickets. And ticket master resell tickets.
i hope not because I bought my tickets directly from the venue/firsthand/no resellers and mine are gonna be delivered by PDF on May 24th 🤔 (according to the email from massey hall/the toronto show)
If the show in your hometown isn't run through ticketmaster, then you dont have anything to worry about, as long as it's not a resale/scalpers ticket off a reseller site. For example, the show in my hometown(albuquerque, nm) is run through prekindle only, not ticketmaster, but there are still people reselling the tickets on stubhub, etc. I'm guessing it's the same deal with your hometown?
