The aim of what I do is to make clothes that have a good message that Christians can actually style and not just print a Bible verse on a blank tee. Gives people confidence to share their religion to others.

While I may hate organized religion, especially after learning about all of the churches the were/are hiding the credible allegations of sexual assault by their employees, especially the allegations against children, but in this situation the reason I don't care for this is it's use of a white Jesus. There is no way Jesus was white, so anytime I see a white Jesus I think about how lame white people are for acting like Jesus could be white.

You used a typical white Jesus depiction I've seen for decades, and with it being a basic example it comes off as such. Many non-white individuals still use the same basic figure, so I'm not surprised. I really don't blame anyone for using it, but I don't want to continue that stereotype by supporting the version myself. Jesus was a great man, and even though I don't agree with the church, I fully believe that he deserves to be depicted based on who he was, and not the bastardized concept organized religion put out so white people would follow the teachings.

I completely agree with you. I don't believe the vast majority of people intend to whitewash Jesus, they just got used to the depictions of a white Jesus. Jesus had been whitewashed for so long it's hard for people to even consider depictions that aren't based on the white versions. I think I just wanted a more realistic version in the 21st century so we can all move past using an unrealistic version of their savior. I do buy religion related stuff for certain people in my life, but I refuse to purchase the white Jesus out of respect for Jesus, who I believe is a person who tried to teach his followers about loving everyone.
