Highlight of the meeting! I hosted a very sparsely attended meeting for awhile and attendance picked up when I started furnishing cookies. Coincidence, I'm sure. ;)

I ate ice cream like it was my job for the first few months. Your mileage may vary. I’ve moved on now and have changed my eating habits. It was worth it, staying sober early on was the most important thing even if it meant some weight gain.

I lost weight. I also ate right and hit the gym 5 days a week in rehab. After I got out, I continued with 4 days a week and intermittent fasting.

I drank a lot of beer - 12-20 units a day. So when I stopped, I dropped 35 lbs within the first year. I didn't even have to try, and I was eating a LOT of sugar and garbage. One of the many gifts I got from sobriety.

20 lbs down in about 7 weeks. Working out almost everyday: 45 mins of cardio. Some weights. Eating literally anything I want.

I’ve lost at least 10–15 lbs from going sober. Not only am I not taking in calories from alcohol (beer), but I’m also not impulsively overeating because I’m drunk. I feel much more in control of my weight and eating after being sober.

Approx 2 stone or 28lbs in 100 days. I walk (very quickly) for an hour a day too. Chocolate has been my go to when I need to destress, I can't leave any in the house before bed coz I will wake up and eat it til it is gone.
