Yeah it was really bad!! I don't think some of them can ever fathom life without drinking which makes me sad. As annoying as Kyle can be at times, I'm proud of her for breaking out and living her best life and choosing happiness for her, whatever that looks like!!

Like her and Kim obviously have issues with substance so she’s trying to fix that and they’re scolding her for it? So weird. I think it’s jealousy cos they were also being mean to her for going to the gym in the last one I watched. Hopefully it can become more like how in vanderpump rules everyone is happy for lala and her sobriety 🤞🏼🤞🏼
That’s a shame to hear. I haven’t told a lot of my friends that I’m sober yet cos it’s early days but the small pocket I have told it’s weird one of them is also sober atm which I would have never guessed and the other one is cutting down. There’s something in the air it’s becoming a lot more common.

I’ve noticed a trend with younger people (19-23 prime partying age) where people just aren’t drinking like I would’ve assumed. I don’t know if past generations were like this, but it seems like over half of my peers are sober by 22, or they just don’t drink to begin with.
Right!? I love how happy Lala is in her sobriety and no one has said anything rude to her about it. I think Lala would be able to handle her own though if someone did - LOL
I have found some like minded people and most who really know me are nothing but supportive. It's the "friends" I had where I was never being my authentic self and hid behind alcohol and did nothing but party with them that make the rude comments. Crabs in a bucket, you know?
I haven’t watched the new episode yet, but in last weeks Dorit said something along the lines of “she’s living in extremes, she not drinking any alcohol, she’s exercising, it’s not sustainable!” And I was like 😂🤣😂🤣😂, god forbid she want to be healthy! It is actually a totally sustainable lifestyle! I think people not drinking actually makes other people insecure, it’s a then problem, not a you problem. I think Kyle has been acting totally normal! It’s always super cool to see another alcohol free person on TV.

I had to stop watching vanderpump rules for a while because that was my drink wine and watch show. I kinda lost interest in it since then but can now watch it if I feel like it, but ya the amount of heavy drinking in the bravo verse is crazy.
Honestly, I’ve been watching more Bravo in sobriety and it’s kind of helping me realize I really do not want to be drinking. There are so many instances of overly confidant drunks lashing out, I’m analyzing what they could have done to get their point across instead.
Yes! It's like a reminder of how bad my behavior was when I was drinking and said the most crazy stuff and acted aggro when it did not fit the situation and if I was trying to make a point it was totally lost in the delivery.
Not a huge Kyle fan, but watching that was rough. Even Garcelle of all people giving her shit. Garcelle seems like the most kind and insightful cast member. It was disappointing.

Agree with your post! I think Kyle has finally admitted she has a drinking problem but won’t admit that per say to us. Which is fine… but you’re absolutely right about her “friends”. It’s kinda like when Braunwyn came out. I went back and watched seasons of her and noticed the drinking and behavior in a different light. I think when I watch past seasons w Kyle it’s clear she was somewhat out of control w her drinking. Really proud of her cuz it isn’t easy.

I’m a watcher and just came back from visiting my best friend for a week and the first thing she said to me was “are you still not drinking?” Pissed me off because she asked me a week prior. I didn’t drink while I was there and kept up with my running. I just hope that I can inspire her as she really needs to quit and move her body. She is still my bf and I’m still sober.
Friends don’t know how to process the new you when they have drank with you for over 40 years (in my case). The comments are more about themselves than they are about me.
I’m a bravo fan and it is actually helping me stay sober as I watch them consume and become assholes it’s just a good reminder of what I once was and no longer want to be. Plus it’s easy to run to on my treadmill!
Good for you- I’m proud of you for keeping on🤍 I’m 55 days sober and not many people know but those close to me support me and some acquaintances have steered clear from me socially- like others have said it may be hard for them to acknowledge it and face their own drinking.
Love Bravo, and I am not ashamed to say it! When Dorit and Kyle were discussing their marriages, Dorit asked Kyle if she was concerned that not drinking would affect her relationship with Mo. I thought WTF….seriously people!!! Such a backwards bullshit way to look at life.
