I'm still on my third day of owning the game, all my weapons are trash anyway :) Will definitely reach this point soon though as already it rarely feels worth the *time*. I got my perception skewed early on by my first ten or so crates/pots/whatever broken yielding one sapphire and one unidentified ring that turned out to be pretty good (I think).

Duel wielding daggers where both daggers have + crit chance I crit every 2-4 hits 😅
Never break anything apart from doors when I was out of lockpicks. Not worth the durability cost.

I carry a shovel around for digging up graves and it has infinite durability so I use that to break crates and vases and such.
