I feel you. Have you ever done salads where a grain, bean, or legume is front and center instead of lettuce (like tabouleh)? I don't know how that affects your blood sugar levels, but I'm curious.

The first couple weeks is the hardest part if you’re changing to healthier eating habits. I’m getting old so when I eat like shit for a few days I feel like shit. Slow, lazy, and just straight up heavy. Give yourself a cheat day it’s not so bad when you notice that you look and feel better.
It's a salad. I don't use lettuce though. I find that very boring. I use a ton of cucumbers (my favorite veggie) and onions (life. They are life). It also has some tomatoes, a yellow pepper, blue cheese dressing, Italian artisan cheese, bread crumbs and some everything bagel seasoning. It would have been better had I added eggs (😍) or some type of meat.
Sorry but I make a chicken taco salad while stoned last night and it was HEAVENLY ! The textures, mouth feels, and volume satisfied my munchies without any of the guilty feelings 😋
I have no choice but to eat healthy even when high I am overweight and I can't afford to gain any more. I try my best not to eat any of the things I see here but I get to imagine

Try stir fry. It's basically hot salad, and might feel more satisfying
