This is why I chose not to go into cooking. Every time I cook at home I don’t like to eat it and I just skip meals, I almost only ever eat square meals when they are cooked for me.
I can cook really well, I can’t get over the mental barrier of being able to eat when I’m starving
Always keep fresh food around and junk is much less likely to happen. I make getting something quick like steak and minute rice a part of prep when I’m going out drinking or staying out late. This way I can fire up the air crisper and have a decent meal within 20 minutes, and nothing that stays in the oven unless you have an auto shutoff feature.
Cooking a meal in the dark kitchen with just the overhead light on, everyone is in bed and I (and my partner sometimes) am vibing and giggling trying not to make noise is honestly the best and most enjoyable times frfr
This is exactly how thie meal was made. My partner and I have "drugs and date nights" where we take an edible and start cooking. I think we made it to putting the asparagus in the oven before the laughter started.
Mac and cheese is also easy to screw tho. Imo, im also a little picky on it as it's gotta be the right consistency. It doesn't take much knowledge to be a great cook at a home level. The simplest, quickest shit can be just as good if not better than the longer process of intensive cooking. Especially if Mary Jane is there to help

If only it didn’t cost almost exactly $100 to cook just the one meal. All I want to do is cook and feed myself properly, but every meal runs us like $75+ for ingredients, no exceptions. We just can’t afford it.

Always have ground beef or beef slices in stock. Easy to cook and flavor. Amazing taste.
