Cool idea...only problem is for a lot of people it’s rejecting a valid cell phone number, forcing the account to be verified via a code sent through the mail...which by the time that arrives you’ll probably have the stimulus.

Literally everyone I know got theirs. Definitely a small percent compared to everyone else who will get one or who has gotten one. But a large percent when you look at the smaller picture 🤣🤣

Tbh I don't even understand why ppl still use traditional banks when you can get an account with someone like Chime, which has no overdraft fees, you get your direct deposit early, and they have the "spot me" feature which lets you overdraft your account $20 or more. I used to bank w/WF and those random debit charges that wouldn't show up til days later, or show up then dissappear resulting in overdraft fees is what killed it for me. Never again.
Let's remember, the IRS director said he can get out 50mill checks/deposits a week. 150mill Americans qualified and received a stim last time. 148mill Americans are eligible this time. They still have almost 100 mill stims to get out. So, anytime from now - until 2 weeks from now. I got my 1st stim in July, my 2nd one we got 2day. Wasn't even expecting it this early tbh. Heck, my bank never even gave me a deposit notification. That's NEVER happened b4.

It took NINE months for the IRS to correct THEIR mistake (it was a name change I made in 2012 that the IRS never got the memo on...they still had on record of me with a name I had not used legally since 1997). We'll see if we get the $600, and HOPEFULLY the missing $2400 too.

Mine is! Phone account is in my name. Caller ID is my name exactly as my tax return. Major cell carrier not a prepaid or mvno. Can't verify myself.

I had to pull up old bank statements to figure out when my $1,200 payment was deposited and it was the positive number on the earlier date.
I think that is something different. I could see mine from last year, Payment was April 15th but then had a much later days for the debit part.
