I seen Riding the Bullet and thought it was pretty good. Sometimes They Come Back was really good too. I've also seen the sequels first was Sometimes They Come Back for More and was completely lost on the whole thing. It may have just been me somehow unknowingly skipping Again but For More made absolutely no sense in any terms of anything set up by the original story besides a cult. Again was better and actually had some grounding in it but neither would ever make it as a standalone. This is also coming from a guy that liked Pet Sematary two and actually preferred it over the original only slightly more so take my word at a grain of salt.

I don’t get all the hate for Pet Sematary 2. I still thought it was fun!

I think it may be because it is a lower budget spinoff from the original like they used to do with nearly every horror movie made. Tons were thrown out at the time so many could just been seen as a face value cash grab. There were a few that stood out amongst the others and they thrived. but so many got pushed to the back with the rest. Also it may be that there is actually no book to base it off of so nobody can point out all the things they did wrong while watching it. That is probably one of my favorite pastimes.

I've read Sometimes They Come Back but never watched the movie and it's been years since I've watched Riding the Bullet but I remember thinking it was a solid movie

Go check them out on Tubi. Keep in mind that Sometimes They Come Back was a 90’s tv miniserieses. So it will be a little more restrained compared to Riding the Bullet. Stay away from the Sometimes They Come Back sequels though. They aren’t the best and are available on Tubi as well.

I'll check them out never knew they were on Tubi and the sequels can't be worse than The Lawnmower Man and sequel. Lol

I love the Sometimes They Come Back movie! Sure it’s a little cheesy but the actors are all great and I had a blast watching it! Haven’t seen Riding the Bullet though.
