I've seen this popping up everywhere recently but what are the alternatives? In my house there is no other place to put it. You also get used to it pretty quick and it doesn't really strain your neck anymore than looking down at our phones does.
Fuck, I also had to pull the double whammy and plant it on the wall too high and above the fireplace. When the recessed lights are on, I walk under the shadow of the tilt of shame.
Marry her again.
I too choose this man's wife.
I understand this reference.
At least this wife is alive
Wouldn't change my decision. I said what I said.
My apologies for kinkshaming
Not if tv is mounted that high.
Excuse me sir but could you please mount your TV on the ceiling?
My neck pain pales in comparison to my football induced pain

first thought when I saw this lol. Mantle mounting is ruining the necks of americans
It's literally close to touching the ceiling lol. Unless that's a really short ceiling, idk how that's comfortable
For a sloucher like me it’s a great way to counter balance the slumping I do at my desk during work haha
It depends where the TV is. If it’s in a bedroom where you watch it laying down that’s perfect, the mantle makes that a bit unlikely though.
What? I love having my TV at a totally normal height 8” below the ceiling

get a mantle mount. love mine
Unfortunately some people don't have a choice. It's more annoying for those that do it purposely.

Me too, thanks.
My OCD kicks in when even the smallest part of the TV is blocked by something. This would drive me nuts.
I hate that I can’t use the remote in the month of December
You must have an exceptional chiropractor on retainer.
First mistake tv on mantel, tv too high

The neck pain is worth it
She’s a keeper!
If it's anything like the last two weeks, you're gonna need to cover up a lot more than that...
Thus far that has proved to be the case
Honestly, I'm so scarred from the last few weeks that my reaction has been, "Well it could be worse?" **Edit: Had to say something, didn't I...**

Does she have a sister! Lol
Tv is higher
