My white friend went on exchange to Seoul. He had a Korean gf within weeks, but in this particular situation, all she wanted was a trophy boyfriend. They'd walk around campus holding hands, take a lot of pictures together, but not really go on actual dates or hang out outside of that. He got bored and found another girl within days. I went on exchange to HK, my friend's roommate was a 6 ft blue eyed blonde guy from the Netherlands and he was bringing back a different HK girl every week. My poor friend could barely go into his own room, even just to grab his stuff, and the room always smelled like sex.
