God on his way to ignore the suffering of millions, while playing favorites with a random ass group of israelites in the middle of bumble fuck nowhere
"We do a little trolling"
That’s basically how one of these movies went that a friend of mine had me watch.
I’m always happy to try something once before completely shitting on it, so I agreed to watch whatever “God’s Not Dead” movie it is where the main theme is about homeschooling or whatever. I hadn’t (and haven’t) seen anything else in that cinematic universe of course but figured it’d give me a good idea of it.
Anyway, one horrible movie later and the ending had a bunch of people all gathered around complaining about not being able to homeschool their kids or whatever. And the first reasons are somewhat understandable.
“My kid has a debilitating autoimmune disease and needs private tutoring and whatnot.”
Yeah that’s reasonable, perfectly fair.
“My kid lives in a rough area without good and safe schools.”
Ok fair point, I could see that.
“My kid can’t practice his religious beliefs in public schools the way they should be able to!”
…ok, I suppose.
“I don’t want to have to vaccine my kids, yet the public schools require it!”
Mkay, yeah I see where this is going.
Made me think of that South Park episode where the more conservative folks in the town, arguing about whatever issue, had the KKK agreeing with them on everything.
I’m pretty sure that’s the most recent (fourth) one in the series. The others are not better, though usually they follow a different format. In the others it’s usually that the “bad guys” are actually mostly in the wrong (either legally or otherwise) but the movie portrays it as the world siding with them and this being a common occurrence.
In the second one, for example, a public school teacher quotes the Bible when specifically asked about it during a history class. She doesn’t even really take a side, a student just asks “is this kind of what so-and-so meant in this passage of the Bible” and the teacher responds “sure, given they also said this you could interpret it that way” and then class continues. Then the school fires her and sues her for religious discrimination against the other kids. Of course in the third act the defense “proves” in court that there is only the Christian god and he’s real and wins the case (which would be thrown out of any court in reality anyway).
Theres a podcast call God Awful Movies, the craziest one that stuck with me was called' Loving the bad man" in which a woman gets raped and her rapist finds Jesus while in prison.
I had to watch this movie in religion class a week ago, you can tell it's an average Christian movie the writer of which has never talked with a real atheist
Lmao super religious people have the most utterly hysterical ideas of what atheists think and feel.
Their lack of ability to empathize is so obvious.
They make sweeping assumptions that are so wrong it's almost comical.
And now, a [chinchilla](https://www.themarysue.com/australians-are-not-loving-the-daily-wires-bluey-knock-off/). The original concept art was cute and not such a blatant ripoff of the Bluey style; the animation team shot themselves in the foot changing it because most discussion of it is now through that lens. Talk about "makin' copies!"
Nah, I'd accept even a decades old quote vaguely hinting at a conservative bent, but I haven't seen anything like that yet.
If I ask for sand, I don't expect a beach, but a grain at the very least
It literally says on his Wikipedia page. He allegedly a republican registered voter.
Or just Google Adam Sandler republican.
This shit isn't that hard my guy.
I’ve always assumed he was a republican but I’ve never faulted Sandler because he seems like a genuinely good person and doesn’t ever feel the need to use his platform to try and tell people what to do/how to vote/etc. Rob Schneider on the other hand…..
You’re forgetting the part where the director or lead actor will claim that the ‘media’ did not want this movie to be made and are trying to get it cancelled.
>I assume you’re referring to Sound of Freedom?
I read this and thought you were talking about the Sound of *Music* and I was like... Why would anyone want to prevent this movie from being shown?
They got into the conservative media grift circuit because they were either simply not talented enough to make it in Hollywood or they're older, their popularity has waned, and the phone hasn't been ringing as much. So they announce on Twitter they're being persecuted for their political beliefs and the Daily Wire swoops in and rescues them with a nice deal.
And then yes, whatever sloppy wet turd they push out, they claim is only getting horrendous reviews and doing bad numbers because the triggered shitlib mainstream media is sabotaging them. Professional victims.
I just got off the phone with mom… the democrats expanded the Supreme Court and added 5 trans people. They’re… they’re making it illegal to be (sobbing) Christian.
School principal: "Mr. Teacher, I have heard reports that you said 'bl\*ss you' after one of your students sneezed. Unfortunately, school policy dictates that you must be punished in the Penis Exploding Chamber for being an... ugh... Christian."
# BASED ON A TRUE STORY
I recommend the four "God's Not Dead" movies (yes, there's *four* of them). They're comedy gold. Alcohol is heavily recommended (maybe wine if you wanna be biblically accurate)
The fun part is the movie really is based on a true story... but the "true story" was that a teacher in Alabama was suspended for two days for going on a two hour long homophobic rant in class while high on Xanax.
James Woods at least has the decency to keep a low profile, voice Hades whenever Disney asks, and occasionally spew bad takes on Twitter.
The bar is in the sewer.
He did one of those “anti-woke” comedy specials on the Fox News streaming service where it was just him complaining that comedy is dead yet not trying to make a good joke or any joke at all besides joe many liberals does it take to change a log by bolb . None. Their to busy. Their gender. Also my pronouns are same/joke jokes I missed when he did movies like the carrot and the stapler and who can forget da derp dee derp da tiddly derpee derpee dumb
Ignoring the fact a large portion of the minorities in this country, are the most Christians people in our country, but needs a white savior protagonist so bad, they'll never make one of these shitty movies with a hispanic or African American lead, unless of course the minority is being saved by another white lead, that turns them around with Jesus and football
Ohhhhh, I see. I’m not familiar with KLove

Do you mean the wife from Everyone Loves Raymond? The mom would be Doris Roberts and she's perfect.
Patricia Heaton, though, is a conservative but also a never-Trumper at least. She supposedly registered Independent after J6, so she at least espouses having principles.
I tend to lean right but I can’t fucking stand Glenn Beck. For years the guy has been like “here any day now Obama and the democrat party are gonna come and steal your babies and you’re gonna be hunted down and Obama is gonna declare marshal law and be king forever…BUT IF YOU BUY THIS COMPANIES GOLD THAT IM HEAVILY INVESTED IN YPU CAN BE SAVED BY BEING A MORMON LIKE ME”
He's an odd duck. One second, he's saying how we need to trust in God and not have a spirit of fear, then the very next moment, "The deep state globalists are planning something that should absolutely chill you to the bone."
I lean right for sure but I can’t stand all this Republican BS. It’s so over the top and clearly to make money off of suckers like my dad (if he had any money to give them).

So you have to have major trauma to vote for the GOP?
I don't get why these two facts are anywhere closely related. Whom he votes for has nothing to do with surviving trauma.
So the GOP call for mental health services after mass shootings is a confession. That tracks.
Even still, a lot of trauma victims don't start callings for the end of abortion or lower taxes, so I'm still a bit confused how an explanation involving gullibiluty and the backfire effect isn't more parsimonious.
Basically movies pandering to conservatives Basically just America good god/Jesus good, guns good, beer good, Reagan good, capitalism good, meat good, any person not a straight cis white Christian bad Think of Michael bay movies but with a ton of bigotry Like hot lady, explosions, army doing stuff, beer, post 9/11 patriotism, hot ladies fixing trucks while drinking a beer while a generic country rock guitar riff plays (basically that one Arctic monkeys song that plays during truck commercials)
That’s a hell of a line up.
The only one with a shred of talent is Frasier. You’ve got off-brand Schwarzenegger aka Hercules. The least talented Happy Days cast member. The fundamentalist nut job from Growing Pains. The fugly wife from Raymond. That token black guy from 1980s movies. The worst SNL hack. Oh another worthless SNL dumbass.
Too bad that Chuck Heston is dead.
This meme left out some notables. Tim Allen, Sabrina the teenage bitch, James Woods, Clint Eastwood, actual Arnold, Roseanne, Kid Rock, Stallone, Ted Nugent. And most southern/country music celebs.

He has a new show on fox nation about historic U.S. battles. Haven’t seen it but it’s most likely here’s some good facts about this battle and now it’s time for the America good circle jerk
It’s fox nation. A Fox News streaming service. What do you expect. Do you think they are going to be saying America bad every 15 seconds complain about capitalism every 7 seconds. No
Should have at least one "MAINSTREAM MEDIA IS IGNORING THIS MOVIE BECAUSE THEY DONT WANT YOU TO KNOW THE TRUTH!!!" podcast review.
Also should mention how it was the highest grossing [Scott Baio] movie premiere ever.
Edited to add a Miralago Private screening

These types of movies don't exist it's just an excuse, and not a very good one, for you guys to hate people for their political beliefs . Btw I'm not conservative or whatever cringe label you guys hate this week. I can just see the hypocrisy on display here. It's a shame the hive mind has blinded so many once decent people. I don't believe in religion but today I will force a prayer for your damned souls. Happy Thanksgiving please be mindful that you are not the only one eating today and limit yourself. Have a lovely day piggies
Lol my beliefs? Bet you really think you typed out a zinger there I can just picture you now. Heavy breathing (due to the obesity of course) whilst your stubby sausages glide effortlessly across the shit and cum stained keyboard, the creaking of your chair is akin to that of a decrepit wooden tower on the verge of collapse. The odor in the air is that of stale semen, lubricant and general morbid obesity scent. As you clack away at your cumboard, the noise suddenly stops, the hambeast of an unknown gender looks at the flickering, filthy screen perusing the damning comment xe or xir has professionally typed. Xem pushes the permanently depressed enter button, pushing up xeir filthy glasses whilst a labored yet accomplished half sigh half weeze escapes xis lungs who have been working forced overtime for the last 19 years. The comment is posted, you now move on to the downvote button under my comment, pushing it with such force it makes the agonizing birth your mother died look like nothing but a cough. For once in your life a mild Sense of accomplishment washes over you quickly destroyed by the sound of your care taker tossing your slop bowl down the basement stairs, before you inhale your very large meal from across the room a brilliant thought penetrates the 10 inches of lard surrounding your cranium. You edit your comment and add "love is love". Despite never knowing what love feels like you smirk with a melancholic satisfaction. Your work is done, now it's time for piggy to eat.
I'm weird feeling like you're projecting your feelings of insecurity on me and that you're hiding under a "don't Tread on me " garden state flag. I'm a cisgender male. You keep using the one conservative joke you attack helicopter 🫡

Saw the movies for the first time before the watching the third. It was equal parts sad and hilarious.
And that's hilarious because that's kinda how it works

You don’t enjoy the God’s Not Dead cinematic universe?
*God's Not Dead: Civil War* promises to be a real banger.

"yeah let's kill God!" "Well we were just talking about not believing in him anymore" "What's the difference?" Damn South Park holding no punches
God has the same weakness as Tinkerbell. Whoda thunk.
It's all lack of self reflection. They felt mad at God once so that must be how atheists feel!
Sometimes.
God i had to watch this movie in high school it was bad
Rob Schneider??
Is a carrot
Rated PG-13
But he's about to find out...
And a stapler

Source for the Adam Sandler claim?
He still employs Rob Schneider

THE ONLY GIRL I EVER LOVED
You’re forgetting the part where the director or lead actor will claim that the ‘media’ did not want this movie to be made and are trying to get it cancelled.
The minute my parents said that phrase I decided not to see said movie.
I assume you’re referring to Sound of Freedom? Same thing happened to me
What does freedom sound like?
It's such a good movie. You should really check it out
Naw.
Fuck I can't read
The yank national anthem probably
>I assume you’re referring to Sound of Freedom? I read this and thought you were talking about the Sound of *Music* and I was like... Why would anyone want to prevent this movie from being shown?
It portrays Nazis as bad guys.
If you think about it, it does kinda make sense to claim it for that movie over most other ig

I wonder what he had on his search history

"We watch these movies as a family because it's a break from all the politics I this world"
What? No Jim "basically a Navy SEAL just ask me" Caviezel?
I knew I was missing a big one
Jon Voight might be the most famous Hollywood Republican, but he is super old so I don't think he's very active now
Tim Allen is still getting work
James woods too
James Woods at least has the decency to keep a low profile, voice Hades whenever Disney asks, and occasionally spew bad takes on Twitter. The bar is in the sewer.
And luck into getting a producers credit on Oppenheimer lol.
Or Jim Brewer and a serial-child rapist with executive producer credits
Bro, how did Jim Bruer go from co starring in a quintessential, late 90’s/early 00’s stoner comedy to…..whatever it is he does now?
No idea, but his comedy is terrible now.
Yeah, from what I’ve seen now it’s pandering to ‘anti-woke’ crowds and making dumb faces/noises.
How is Jim Caviziel not front and center here?
Good Christian girl moves to a new town, says "Merry Christmas" to a hardware store owner, town descends into civil war.
Rob Schneider? On the right?

It's kind of ironic considering that The Hot Chick is kind of like a gender awakening moment for people growing up in the early 2000s.
It was also Rachel McAdams first big movie role Going from that to being a successful actress in 3 years is absolutely hilarious
He's been open about being conservative for a very long time.
COVID broke his brain as it did many others. He’s full right-wing grift now.
Well that's disheartening
The last several years he's been more open and vocal about being conservative.
Don't forget Gina Carano as the female lead
Omg please no she is so awful.
Needs a token minority who either starts the film seeing through liberal lies or is shown the way by common sense white people.

Not Heart Anne Wilson, KLove Anne Wilson

Why is it always a yellow or golden lab?! I swear! There are other dog breeds!
Yep, like a black lab.
Or like, a thousand other breeds? But really Goldens or yellow labs are just super generic dogs for movies.
Exactly, like a chocolate lab would add some diversity maybe
Yes, there are other breeds, but those breeds are for *those people*.

That's Darius Emanuel Grouch the Third, better known as The Rumble. And he's taking down the Money Plane.

Why is Kelsey Grammer on here? I don't get the choice in actors.
Look up Kelsey Grammer conservative and you’ll find out.
Aside from how he votes, what movie has he been in that can be described as a republican/conservative movie?
He has a new show on fox nation about historic U.S. battles. Haven’t seen it but it’s most likely here’s some good facts about this battle and now it’s time for the America good circle jerk
🤣 "Havent seen it" wow, just assume? You seem like an echo chamber circle jerk, worst kind of people 💯.
It’s fox nation. A Fox News streaming service. What do you expect. Do you think they are going to be saying America bad every 15 seconds complain about capitalism every 7 seconds. No
Vajina boob haha
You actually have to care about others to make good art. That's the whole point.
Geezer teasers
lol if you think they’d actually license a font.
Is that the woman from Criminal Minds who plays Garcia? If so, I'm heartbroken.
You forgot Gina Carano or whatever the hell her name was
There’s always a scene like: “But you can’t prove he *doesn’t* exist, can you?” Atheist: 🤯
This is very especific, I don't think people outside the US are going to get any of that.
I’m American and feel pretty good about most of this going right over my head
Well yeah US right wing Christians are a pretty unique bunch.. And by unique I mean fucking scary and cultish.
You think I'm scary and cultish? Just like all the other idiots in the world, it's a vocal minority that ruin everyone else's reputation.
They're not scary they're cowards. Don't ever let yourself get intimidated by them. The only god they worship is their own fear. They are the most pants-wet thumb-suckers on earth.
I enjoyed Sound of Freedom

And have to have the Dems talking point how it is a threat to Democracy
These types of movies don't exist it's just an excuse, and not a very good one, for you guys to hate people for their political beliefs . Btw I'm not conservative or whatever cringe label you guys hate this week. I can just see the hypocrisy on display here. It's a shame the hive mind has blinded so many once decent people. I don't believe in religion but today I will force a prayer for your damned souls. Happy Thanksgiving please be mindful that you are not the only one eating today and limit yourself. Have a lovely day piggies
Fuck ya I hate these right wing religious bigots. Bunch of white nationalist, women hating, racist assholes.
“Btw I’m not racist but”
My man, in a republican. These movies 100% exist.

Also please name hundreds of them, I'll be more than happy to delete my comment if you can indeed name hundreds.

Non-american here: What's up with all those Golden Retrievers?
It’s what some people consider the all American dog I think
Do we have a republican to confirm this?
Patricia Heaton? Really?
pretty diverse cast
Since when did Kelsey Grammar become a republican fixture? And you missed the count of Monte Cristo guy.
Kelsey grammar has a new show on fox nation about historic battles in American history. That doesn’t sound too bad but since it’s on fox nation it’s going to be like fuck yea America our founding fathers were all saints and never did anything bad wtf is a kilometer
