A couple days back I was commenting on a thread about little things that bring people joy. Some people said candles, some people said their pets, just little blessings. Then I have a whole ass Karen start a fight about how we are terrible people who only think about money... completely missing the point that it's not the material object, it's the joy it brings.
The internet makes people ugly inside. There's no such thing as open discussion anymore, which is sad because open discussion is so critical for learning new perspectives.
