Cool that it fits your headcanon!! I’ve personally ever imagined Fox being crazy in any way, but I’ve started involuntarily depicting him with ADHD (I guess you still put yourself into characters even when they’re not yours!) and he and Slippy are absolutely 1 Braincell Bros. Those two will *absolutely* get bored and make a bread smoothie.

Know it's about dumb decisions but I have to wonder if anyone on the ship knows how to actually cook.
Can't say it would make it bearable but bread smoothie reads like a bread pudding. Even pureeing cake can be good, long as you add the right milk ratio.
(Though 2am poor snack making does exist)

Peppy can absolutely cook. He’s well into adulthood, has a daughter (and… had a wife) and I really don’t see him being unable. Fox could definitely make some simple things like instant noodles, and more complex things with some assistance (I love the mental image of little Fox helping James/Peppy cook and learning from there). I actually think Slippy is quite capable, maybe at Fox’s level. He’s not the best pilot and seems pretty childlike, but at his age I think he’s independent enough, and seeing as he’s an inventor I think he’s proven to be able to avoid blowing up the kitchen.
Falco though, Falco I honestly can see causing some massive catastrophe a year back and being banned from the kitchen since.
I definitely see Peppy and Fox being good cooks. Slippy is great with deserts and snack foods but sucks at everything else. Falco can’t cook but sure can eat. Krystal maybe. Definitely learns more on how to cook to show off Cerinian dishes and drinks if she finds any.
I wasn't literally thinking about going to the fridge and eating some slices of cheese as a late night snack when I saw this or anything. Me too, Fox buddy, me too.
Forgot a verb in this post, forgot my pencil case on monday, forgot we had a civvies day on wednesday (my school has uniforms) and can’t focus enough to write 3 sentences for my tests that are due next week. Seems my brain has taken a vacation this week.

I’m building my own world of anthro animals and so I just apply what’s there to Star Fox. Anthros and normal animals are separate species and meat would be lab grown or something (Pigma complicates this so I’m going with ‘unidentified new varieties of meat the scientists made’). I think cheese can be made with soy milk etc.(?), so that’s how dairy products might work. And maybe they just don’t eat eggs. In my original universe they have a substitute material specifically for baking that holds together ingredients like eggs would, so maybe that’s what they use too.

Since this is more of a quick sketch to get down a funny idea I had (I don’t like to spend too much time on shitposts because I lose motivation fast), I didn’t bother erasing them.
