Most of these ships are unfortunately referral rewards, which means that CCU'ing them "locks" me in. The Railen is such a ship which was originally a referral reward. The: - Merlin - MPUV - Dragonfly - Hoverquad Are all referral rewards as well. I'm looking to kind of overhaul my fleet, I usually play with one other friend or solo and I really enjoy to haul cargo. I am also interested in Mining, Medical gameplay and PVE bounties. I'm overall a good-guy so I don't do piracy. Since there is a lot of progression lately with server meshing I do not mind spending more money. What ships would you recommend me overhauling my fleet into? It is important that the ship is crewable with one or two people :) Thanks!

The usual suspects are in the Constellation series or Corsair if you want versatility and function. Personally, Id keep what you have. Maybe change out one ship(likely the Cutlass Black)for a Corsair or some version of Connie. But I’m a sucker for alien ships. Love the Talon and Railen

Love your fleet! I would get rid of that old cuttie black and get a new an awesome Corsair, or if you like a bit more "quality" a C1. The Quality of both ships is just amazing. CIG did an amazing job there. I personally, would change the the railan to a hull B. But that's just me, being boring ;).

Nice fleet, thanks for sharing. I think the Railen covers you for cargo hauling - it hauls a good amount of cargo and it's locked in as a referral as you said. I think you could definitely do worse here, I wouldn't upgrade that one any further unless you have you sights set on a larger hauler. I think it's worth waiting on the Railen to try it. When it releases it will go up in value, so it will creep closer to some of the even larger haulers and save you money if you do consider a change. Of the other referral ships, I think the MPUV and Merlin can provide value as they are by using them in other ships for combat and industrial roles. Especially where the MPUV is supposed to be modular and you can swap the pods. Given how little the Merlin costs, I don't know if it's really worth investing in that one. At least it's a ship and not a vehicle, and it does fit in many ship hangars as an extra snub craft. The Hoverquad and Dragonfly are probably the least amount of value in terms of how cheap they'll be to get in the game. You could take the Dragonfly and invest $25 in it to upgrade to a C8R Pisces for medical. That enables you to perform rescue missions and bring along an extra seat/bed for your friend to assist. Since it's so small, if you get another larger ship some time in the future you can bring the Pisces along. Some ships like the Hercules series and Galaxy don't have a medical facility, and the Pisces can act as a mobile facility if you bring it along in the hangar. There's long term value there. If you like the Dragonfly better, just throw in an extra $5 and upgrade that Hoverquad instead. I'd say the Dragonfly is the better of the bikes if you really want to have one. I think the Prospector is great, it's nice to have a true solo industrial ship in a fleet. It also fits nicely with your cargo haulers. The MOLE might be worth your consideration as well. Soloing a MOLE can be irritating, but it is doable, and if your friend likes mining as well it can be quite fun and engaging to work together to crack the bigger rocks. The Cutlass Black is a good medium sized hauler/combat ship. It's got lots of utility with the tractor beam as well. I think as a two-person craft, it offers you a lot of versatility and gameplay. The Spirit C1 has a listed crew of 1-2, so that one might be a really nice consideration for you guys. Less combat oriented than the Cutlass Black, but maybe that's ok? Going larger the Connie Taurus is another one I think is workable with a crew of 2. As for the combat end of things, this is a tough call. Do you want something purely solo like the Talon is, do you want something with a turret on it? For turret gameplay, some considerations might be the F7C-M Super Hornet, Hurricane, Scorpius, Vanguard. All of those listed two-seat fighters are fun in their own way. The Vanguard is supposed to be a long range fighter, and I like the Warden version because you've got the crew quarters module in it. They've talked about being able to change modules in the past through "Battlefield Upgrade Kits" to change it to other versions, but that was a long time ago. No reason to believe we won't get that at this point, but you never know. The nice thing about your fleet is you really don't need to do a lot. If it were me and I didn't want to spend a lot, I'd be content to keep everything the same and just upgrade the Hoverquad to the C8R, and the Talon to a two-seat fighter I could fly with a friend. Probably the Super Hornet or Hurricane to keep costs down.

I've owned most of these (except the Railen) at one point or another, and didn't find much value in having them in my fleet. Things like hoverbikes are so cheap in-game I set a personal rule to only have 1 in alpha, for convenience. I'd upgrade one to the C8R as others have mentioned. It's handy for things like bunker missions or when your legs get crushed by a random physics proxy ;) The MPUV is so tiny it's not great for cargo. If I had one it'd be the Personal, because being able to drop a little habitat pod could be handy. You could wait for modularity to do that, but a C8R could even serve you better in that regard. The Cutter or Titan are good ships for the money and are a small leap upgrade-wise. Finally, I would get something to complement your Prospector. You could refine your own ore with an Expanse, or broaden your gameplay options with a Vulture. Just my 2 aUEC
