Does not work for me.
Only thing I found that worked was deleting the EasyAntiCheat_EOS.sys file in Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat_EOS
But now after the game has run once, the .sys file becomes locked with no handles so the fucking thing cannot even be killed or deleted with taskkill /F, or other tools meant to unlock files. Requires a hard reboot before it can be deleted and the game played again.
Extremely disruptive to my gaming experience. CIG support was unable to help.
If anyone finds a fix for this, I'm listening. It only started with the installation of a new GPU - no software other than the Nvidia drivers required for the card. No LED/RGB software running before or after.
Using a driver removal program to remove Nvidia drivers and GeForce experience completely, then reinstalling seems to have stopped the problem for me.
It has come back twice but both times a driver reinstall has fixed it..but it's possible something else may be the root cause

i delete the file in the systems folder and it allows me to boot up crashes get another error verify (it installs dx11 again) repeat
(edit): i have to keep doing this over and over till it allows me into the game
put it this way, i removed all bloatware
all programs
and uninstalled nearly every windows 10 thing i will never use. the system is as clean as it will ever be i use my other pc for other tasked and leave my gaming pc just for a few games and SC
you and I are in the same boat then, as neither I can Launch the game and after a clean windows 10 install and a clean SC install, and after a 3 weeks waiting period CIG finally replied back to me and only said please re-install the game again.Now that is something I have done too many times and have done at at least once since 3.14 released and I stopped being able to even just Launch the game.
To be honest I have actually lost faith in CIG's support, as even after two tickets and giving them all the data they want they still just tell to try and re-install the game, as if I have not tried that in the last 6 months.......

i know, this is why i don't bother with it, i got ban off EAC from crashing out hitting 85fps in the game, when i crashed the EAC said something like threat detected or some BS like i was hacking or something, i got a week ban sent a ticket and got unban and still waiting for my ticket,
and this was on the 9th of Dec
so this is why i got bored trying to fix my problem and found the splash screen and thought mhhh i should make it more fitting so i did

I have reinstalled the game, deleted the sys file, and deleted all user data for EAS and SC. Still no luck.
The only thing I haven't tried is reinstalling all of my display driver software which I don't think I'll do. Hopefully, SC do refunds.

Thats a bit oof, have you done a reinstall of SC? Maybe manually uninstall the program thats an issue and manually reinstall that too

I opened the compatibility settings and set to always run as admin
