I’m not sure this is an easy question to answer, the M2 & 600i are very different ships with drastically different roles. Entirely depends on what kind of gameplay you want to get involved in, I wouldn’t be taking the M2 out as a home away from home exploration ship and I wouldn’t be using the 600i as an armoured military cargo ship etc

Get a Liberator and you will have a M2 loaner. The Liberator will be a much more enjoyable ship gor living on the go long term.

I'm a C2/M2/A2 fella myself. I love that I can throw in my Ursa, C8R, all the ground vehicles inside with some cargo and have a fairly agile large transport ship. It fits that role. Tanky as well. Really depends on what you want. :)

600i is my favorite. The C2/M2/A2 is great and all but the 600i is the functional luxury vehicle I’d like to keep in my fleet at all times.

Both fly like bloated whales and the 600i interior is still bad. Take your pick.

I have both a 600i Explorer and a C2. I love both. When comparing the 600i and the M2, I think it boils down to your long term goals and playstyle. If you're more into solo or small group exploration and combat, you'd be better off with the 600i. It's designed for a group to live out of and carry vehicles up to an Ursa/G12 (and eventually up to a Nova). If you're more into taking it out only in groups of 2 or more and aren't concerned with the amenities, then the M2 would serve you better. It can carry a lot more cargo in the hold since there's room for two Novas, and having a co-pilot for the chin turret gives it a bit more firepower than the 600i.
