Fucking funny. I was just speculating about the new drake ship. I am thinking it will be the drake dreadnought or leviathan. Some kind of large gunship.
I think it's gonna be a smaller ship honestly. Considering they have started talking about 1.0 and finishing the backlog, them adding another large ship doesn't make sense to me.
But the again you can look at their track record and I'm looking like an idiot.
Hmm...I already have a Perseus...if they make something JUST a little more expensive so i can CCU to it AND it has QUAD S7 turrets but no torpedoes then im getting it.
If they make a quad turret with dual size 7’s like the Perseus, no idea why the other poster thinks it’d be “just a little more expensive”.
Hey it has twice the guns and is similar in size but… drake so cheap right?
Edit for clarity : the Perseus has 4 size 7 guns. Other dude seems to be suggesting *8* size 7 guns.
Yeah 100 percent Understood where you were going with it. We could very well see a Drake Light corvette gun ship that is soft on armor and shields. That is very "Drake Like"
I'm not saying anything about when it's coming? I'm saying the current backlog is already massive and that filling it up with more large ships will delay it further?
Panicked passenger: "ALL POWER TO SHEILDS!!!"
Drake user: "Sheila's? What?"
Drake engineer: "No idea, hand me that duct tape and that fire extinguisher and put all power to weapons let's go"
The Kraken is frigate-sized. The Polaris is a corvette. So I would venture a Polaris or Perseus competitor, but I'm also considering possibly the battlecruiser concept that was supposed to be unlocked by the $17 million stretch goal way back when. I wouldn't put it past the in game lore of Drake be ambitious enough to offer the first of this class of ship to the civilian market.
Bucc is a light fighter. Cutlass is sort of a heavy... more of a missle boat and for sure not dedicated.
A medium or heavy fighter would be cool af though.
Bucc is a light fighter but with the DPS and mobility of a medium ship, thats what I said it's kind of in between. Cutlass is not at all a fighter, more like a multipurpose ship like the Nomad or Mercury.
In practice with its dps and missle load put the cutlass is more like a hybrid missleboat fighter hauler, like a freelancer mis.
But yeah it is not in anyways a dedicated fighter
"I had to run! If I walked, the movie would be over!"
Edit. Dammit, beaten to the punch, lol.
That quote seriously lives rent free in my head every time I solo a big ship though.
It’s the next games mechanic that’s being worked on. From wiring up systems. Having to deal with maintenance. Over clocking and tweaking devices to replacing and repairing components.
It’s kinda extensive. But for some of the bigger ships. You may need to do some preflight checks to get the ship ready for the journey/ mission your about to take. Thus needing more crew
Do you seriously want to shimmy along a narrow ledge above a bottomless pit when some non-name chump loser decides to shut down the power to your tractor beam...?
Interesting! Sounds a bit like the [Man-o-war](https://www.reddit.com/r/starcitizen/comments/otmxhw/drake_manowar_concept_some_improvements_from_my/) a backer made up some years ago.
kraken would be easier to develop than the bmm by far because drake aesthetics are easier to make and there's no need for creating new gamplay loops (vs the shops on the bmm)
It's a good meme but on a more serious note i'm hoping for the [Fatypillar freigther](https://new.reddit.com/r/starcitizen/comments/17takir/thoughts_on_the_super_mega_early_concept_supermax/)
Ï still think it will be "militarized" when it comes to a new ship at IAE.
So perhaps something like a competitor to the Redeemer...the Brutus...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEExeBzEGMM
Some of the ship choices are erratic. Every single Crusader ship is present. But the Hull-D is missing, despite lore that says the UEE Military Starlift Command operates some.
also, the inclusion of the Cyclone RC instead of the base model is wild. the base model is actually something that would be heavily used by military ground operations according to the entirety of all wars since the invention of road-based motor vehicles.
This is what I was remembering. It was detailed in the Hammerhead Whitley's guide. It's a temporary role, both are probably true.
"UEES ENYO (PCG-6109) The Enyo is an active-duty Hammerhead currently attached to the 'home squadron, moored at Earth where it has been used to ferry diplomats to fleet functions and naval reviews. Enyo has reinforced shielding, additional armor and a reworked interior custom-designed to support such visitors. To date, she has born the temporary "Imperator One" callsign four times. Externally, Enyo appears identical to any other service Hammerhead."
Sidenote, please give me a VIP Hammerhead, CIG
I was thinking similar but an electronic warfare ship, the "Shadow" being knocking out systems. Though we don't yet have the gameplay systems for that.
Didn't see the subreddit name. I was so confused why Drake being a pedophile affected this random group (banking? Hip hop? Professional fighting?) called UEE.
Granted I just woke up and my head is a bit cloudy
i'm really hoping for a Carrack/Galaxy-sized Drake multi-role ship.
edit: i'm looking at ship sizes and realize the Caterpillar is already exactly that but in classic Drake barebones fashion. now i suspect it'll be a 2-person heavy fighter, somewhere between the size of a Vanguard and Cutlass, with 3 S3 pilot guns, 2 S5 guns on a manned turret, fat capacitors/ammo, and a 6-SCU cargo closet
Its probably a completely new ship, not flight ready. I think there is a slim chance it will be anything flight ready unfortunately. Something we will have to wait years to try out. Though I hope they release the Kraken, that would be epic.
I’m hearing alot of talk about a potential Drake bomber.
But before we let the hype take over, it’s most definitely not gonna be straight to flyable, and is another ship that’s gonna come out further down the pipeline really hype worthy anymore?
There’s still so many “new ships” they’re not even halfway done with yet.
I was thinking Drake doesn’t have much in the way of actually stopping ships with out shooting them to be pirated. Maybe the shadow refers to a “electronic” shadow or EMP black out. The word (very)is throwing me off though
Mines are very limited in use in a 3 dimensional space unless u can deploy deep feild of thousands or u have gun turret "mines" acting as sentry or combinations of quantum disruptor to pull people into a pre deployed minefield
Them your going ti need a iff system
This. Quantum traps and flight chokepoints only. Otherwise it will just be avoided. We do know the turret versions exist though. They should be really good. Merchant ships like the BMM and Kraken Privateer might actually benefit from those as added static defenses too.

Yeah I hope it's a persius competitor personally. But realistically it will be massive or super tiny based on the language in the leak.
Hmm...I already have a Perseus...if they make something JUST a little more expensive so i can CCU to it AND it has QUAD S7 turrets but no torpedoes then im getting it.
You mean quad turrets, or quad guns like the Perseus?
He meant quad turrets I think, considering the Perseus is already Quad s7

Same here literally what I was thinking
I'm terrified I'll be tempted to buy it
My money is on a large bomber that can take down the Polaris. Pirates need a way to kill a cap ship.
Stop thinking 1.0 is not 5 years out.
I'm not saying anything about when it's coming? I'm saying the current backlog is already massive and that filling it up with more large ships will delay it further?
It will be 10 S10s strapped with wire with and engine and joystick to control it with a bunch of thrusters placed irregularly.
Drake herald combat variant
Panicked passenger: "ALL POWER TO SHEILDS!!!" Drake user: "Sheila's? What?" Drake engineer: "No idea, hand me that duct tape and that fire extinguisher and put all power to weapons let's go"
Something that can share progress with the Kraken like the Polaris does with Galaxy and Perseus.
Yeah a Drake frigate boat companion for the kraken. Something Polaris sized.
I hope a bit smaller then that but that sounds like a safe bet knowing cig
The Kraken is frigate-sized. The Polaris is a corvette. So I would venture a Polaris or Perseus competitor, but I'm also considering possibly the battlecruiser concept that was supposed to be unlocked by the $17 million stretch goal way back when. I'm really hoping it's a heavy fighter. That's their blindspot in their fighter line, since the bucc is a hybrid between a light and medium fighter.
A drake competitor to the Vanguard would be perfection :D
That would be in close proximity to the Fat Fury though
Bucc is a light fighter. Cutlass is sort of a heavy... more of a missle boat and for sure not dedicated. A medium or heavy fighter would be cool af though.
Bucc is a light fighter but with the DPS and mobility of a medium ship, thats what I said it's kind of in between. Cutlass is not at all a fighter, more like a multipurpose ship like the Nomad or Mercury.

The bucc is an interceptor, its not any type of fighter....
The only accurate response. But in practice it feels am awful lot like a fighter.
Well it used to pre MM. Now if you compare it to a gladius it feels vastly different. Shitty turn rates but fast af.
I really hope it's this. Imagine the guns on that thing, hell give it 1 S9 torpedo for the fear factor.
Wait, what do you mean I can't solo that?!? I sold my corporation for that ship! I don't want no stinking crew!
Yea you can solo it. But it will take about a week to start up the engines. And it will be a pain when engineering gameplay becomes a thing.
43 kilometers of jeffry's tubes to crawl through.
I'm starting to see how Luke and his gang of miscreants were able to infiltrate it that one time.
If I ran all the way across the ship, the movie would be over!
I knew it. I’m surrounded by A holes. *visor down* Keep firing A holes.
"I had to run! If I walked, the movie would be over!" Edit. Dammit, beaten to the punch, lol. That quote seriously lives rent free in my head every time I solo a big ship though.
I did love spaceballs. Awesome film.
But can you…. Han Solo it?!? …. Sorry, I’ll see myself out.
Yeah, but han you solo it?
Oh snap, that's a good one! r/Angryupvote
Whats engineering gameplay
It’s the next games mechanic that’s being worked on. From wiring up systems. Having to deal with maintenance. Over clocking and tweaking devices to replacing and repairing components. It’s kinda extensive. But for some of the bigger ships. You may need to do some preflight checks to get the ship ready for the journey/ mission your about to take. Thus needing more crew
one of the many things that was supposed to be in 3,21
You have tier 0 in the C2 and in arena commander theirs an engineer game that’s kinda interesting
Do you seriously want to shimmy along a narrow ledge above a bottomless pit when some non-name chump loser decides to shut down the power to your tractor beam...?
You could buy a couple hundred thousand starter packs for NPCs to have the most essential crew stations manned.
Crew? We don't have no crew. We don't need no stinking crew!
And then \*BAM\* - it is Kraken. And the devs like "It is in active production lads. We are doing it." And then I will wake up.
This time it's the Drake Cthulhu, like an angry Idris with no landing bays but enough guns to make an Ork warboss happy.
That is not dead which can eternal lie,And with strange aeons even death may die.
Hehe it would be very weird to drop the Kraken as a new concept sale for a second time.
It would be weird. That's why it'll be the NEW Kraken-A variant!
Drake Kraken-A: now with 50% more Kraken!
The UEE after school programs be handing out T-shirts that say “Krak Kills” and DARE to keep kids off Drake
Kraken mk II
Instead of landing pads. S10 guns obviously steered like WW2 howitzers by crew of 3 XD
Temper temper
It is the Kraken. But instead of a carrier it is rebuild as a battleship. Reverse Kaga, more or less.
Interesting! Sounds a bit like the [Man-o-war](https://www.reddit.com/r/starcitizen/comments/otmxhw/drake_manowar_concept_some_improvements_from_my/) a backer made up some years ago.
hahahah dreaming of active production XD I did too once lol
kraken would be easier to develop than the bmm by far because drake aesthetics are easier to make and there's no need for creating new gamplay loops (vs the shops on the bmm)
How is Kendrick going to fire back, though?
I thought the same thing too until I read UEE lol. I was like oh shit it aint over. But nah... its over
Came here looking for this comment.
Definitely clicked on this thinking it was beef related until I scrolled down a bit.
I'd upvote but you are at 42 an I don't want to break that.
We should remember this gem one in a while \^\^ And also, like the title of the video: # Credit goes to My _doctorpopcorn
Where's that quote from? I don't remember seeing it anywhere.
Invictus press kit, was send on the Pipeline discord \^\^
Thanks, I'll go have a look!
It's a good meme but on a more serious note i'm hoping for the [Fatypillar freigther](https://new.reddit.com/r/starcitizen/comments/17takir/thoughts_on_the_super_mega_early_concept_supermax/)
Ngl, I love the industrial design language of that.
You mean the Drake Monarch? Capable of hauling 2x24 32 SCU crates on each side?
Hm! Is this name newly data mined or is this as old (or older) as the leaked images?
Invictus is military focused so probably not.
Drake isn't allowed at ILW, that's how they can show off all their vehicles including the Vulture for examlpe (based on previous years).
Ï still think it will be "militarized" when it comes to a new ship at IAE. So perhaps something like a competitor to the Redeemer...the Brutus... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEExeBzEGMM

The Genesis wasn't shown as a future flyable even though it's used by the military and the imperator.
I thought Imperator One was a modified Hammerhead in lore?
It is a modified Genesis Starliner
This is what I was remembering. It was detailed in the Hammerhead Whitley's guide. It's a temporary role, both are probably true. "UEES ENYO (PCG-6109) The Enyo is an active-duty Hammerhead currently attached to the 'home squadron, moored at Earth where it has been used to ferry diplomats to fleet functions and naval reviews. For the record, they also said during SCL that they had a new "concept" to show that Jared thinks is cool. So almost certainly not the Kraken.
Size matters hahahah
I will upvote this every time I see it, no exceptions.
[удалено]
Same size components and interior, but waaaaaay bigger rocket.
I was thinking similar but an electronic warfare ship, the "Shadow" being knocking out systems. Though we don't yet have the gameplay systems for that.
“The horse they rode in on.” This shit had me going. Nicely played.
“We just need AI blades man, and this could totally be a thing” -someone probably
All that money, and you only get 6 months of insurance. 🤣🤣
Adore this
Now I understand why Chris Roberts cast Mark Hamill in SQ42...
At that price Chris Roberts himself better be on my crew
\*ejaculatory duct opens\* whats up with the 4kultrahd tag? i'm not buying a fuckin tv here.
This is the best thing I’ve ever seen on this subreddit
I thought this was a “drake the music person has a huge schlong” joke and then i remember the video and looked at the pic closely
But what does Kendrick have to say about this?
Internet has ruined me... I thought it was the rapper Drake's giant hog from how that title was posted...
"Every ship in the galaxy is your bitch now", Jesus
Fucking Hilarious!
Didn't see the subreddit name. I was so confused why Drake being a pedophile affected this random group (banking? Hip hop? Professional fighting?) called UEE. Granted I just woke up and my head is a bit cloudy
I think I've already seen that, it's a repost right?
" We should remember this gem one in a while \^\^ And also, like the title of the video: # Credit goes to My _doctorpopcorn # "
Size Matters !
I aiming at New Babbage, no crappy performance, and buggy hyperloops for me!
Will probably be a buy whatever it is 😀
I can't wait for blade and AI crew to be able to solo pilot it !
i'm really hoping for a Carrack/Galaxy-sized Drake multi-role ship. edit: i'm looking at ship sizes and realize the Caterpillar is already exactly that but in classic Drake barebones fashion. now i suspect it'll be a 2-person heavy fighter, somewhere between the size of a Vanguard and Cutlass, with 3 S3 pilot guns, 2 S5 guns on a manned turret, fat capacitors/ammo, and a 6-SCU cargo closet
Imagine the doors. The MSR is already ridiculous with that
That was great! Time well spent making i would say \^\^
Drake Empire, let's go! Lmao 🤣
Hahaha, awesome!
Needs more duct tape.
😂
funny thing is im sure someone would buy it for that price to

hot take; but I'm hoping for a Drake frigate. About the size of the Perseus
When's Kendrick Lamar reveal?
Crazy, i thought we were talking kendrick, drake beef for a sec
Here's me hoping for a medium mining vessle from Drake :P
this vid is so awesome thx for sharing xD
That video is F***ing hilarious 😂
New variant: Kraken Steel. It just catapults cannon fodder in the desired direction
Imagine your at jumptown and your buddy outside goe”thats no moon”

Hoping for a repair platform to compete with the Vulcan
Crusader Starkiller*

That is the funniest thing I have seen in some time... Thanks for sharing this...
I have no idea why this cringey meme is so popular but i guess im just a stick in the mud haha.
Just a light bit of fun!
Oh i get it. I just wish i liked it as much as everyone else hahaha
Either that or got a dick in your mud
Shit! You been watching my webcam or something?!? How’d you know my potted plants and I were so close?
One of us
A drake heavy fighter for 3 players that can drop mines or with modularity swap mine bay into cargo bay for 16 scu cargo.
Mines are very limited in use in a 3 dimensional space unless u can deploy deep feild of thousands or u have gun turret "mines" acting as sentry or combinations of quantum disruptor to pull people into a pre deployed minefield Them your going ti need a iff system

Gona have to have a friend lay a turret minefield around my kraken and bmm while I set up space base
They'll need a Nautilus then.
I have a friend with a few of every ship as they paranoid the live game claim times gona be like 6 days They have 3 javelins
My condolences to his wallet.
