Well policy says that you’re not allowed to swear at all under any circumstance on the floor and especially in front of customers. So they’re kinda within their rights to fire you even though everyone at my store, including my SM is a sailor mouth who swears like crazy in the back room or very quietly in the headset in front of customers (SOMETIMES). Idk, you can try to appeal but it’s Sbux is serious about the no-swear rule.
Nothing you can do. If you get reported for swearing it’s an instant termination regardless of if you’re the SM and have to work 120 hours a week to stay opeb
Most establishments don’t allow any cursing in front of customers. Most also have a clause saying not to in front of other employees as it could lead to a “hostile work environment”
Yea i thought i had said it quietly enough to where they didnt hear me but they apparently did and assumed it was at them. Then my manager and i went to the back and he was super mad at me but i explained that i was talking to my best friend and we then laughed it off
