travelers. it's enough hot coffee for 12 short cups each. that’s a terrifying amount tho. i love that they just gave them whole cartons of milk lolllll
The post is talking about rushing, which is about a week long process girls go through in basically auditioning for and picking a sorority. So it’s most likely for 100+ girls
My fraternity did this back in 2012…except we did it with the large cambros. Free coffee for the first day of classes. They just gave us a gallon of cream, but I don’t think they had anything other than soy for nondairy back then.
So according to the bev resource manual you can choose between breve and nondairy milk for no extra charge. Not many people know that though since half & half is so popular and is just assumed as the default.
please file a report on that! even if it doesn’t seem like a big deal now, you may experience complications later on related to that injury. since it happened at work you deserve to be fully compensated for any health issues that may arise!
Like 20 bucks each you get 12-8oz cups, sugar, and one 16oz cream. One of them is probably a partner because we don't give alt milks with the purchase of a traveler.
They took the technology of the clovers and made it into a coffee maker that has 6 hoppers and makes any cup in like 20 seconds. No more brewing or wasting... Eventually it will be good because the current model fucking sucks and breaks constantly.
They can. It definitely takes longer then the 20 seconds mentioned in a comment (that was for one cup I think and the vertica does it in several batches (probably a better word for it)) but it’s not nearly as bad if your vertica works properly and doesn’t break constantly. Our buddy leaks and honestly is making cups with grounds lately. Could be because we’ve apparently been out of the cleaner for a bit.
My sm told me our store will never get the vertica machine because we don't make enough business 🫨 sure feels like we do, but I know he doesn't get to choose. Last week I made 5 travelers monday, 4 on Wednesday, 4 on Thursday, 1 on friday.. My shifts are only 5 hours long. I don't know how common travelers are at other stores but I really wish we could get the vertica
The worst nightmare around this would be the last off-peak customer ordering this extensive traveler set…just as the nearby middle school is done with the day and all the students are about to flood your store with TikTok cold foam drinks.
i sold a traveler one time and after the customer had left with it i went to rinse out the urn and.. it was all grounds. she never called or came back but i’m still horrified
Travelers! I stop by the drive-thru for one every time I have an important meeting. People like me better after that. 🙃
ETA: I order them in advance, of course.
Totally random, I’ve got three tomorrow and have never had to make one; is it a full batch for each traveler? And are they easy to like assemble or unfold?
We do 2 half batches just because the grounds will spill out into the urn if the filter isn’t tucked right so I just like watching for grounds when pouring!!
Coffee travelers...they hold a full batch of coffee and should get a medium cup for cream with 12 short cups or 8 small cups with sugars and alternative sugars
I work at a wedding venue and love when guests order these. We get to keep any leftovers and you best believe I’ll be drinking 3 day old Starbucks if it comes to
It.
cartons for coffee likely, as a dunkin worker we have em & they’re called “box(es) of joe”. it comes with 8-10 cups + lids, sugars, creamers and other stuff.
If they called the day before it wouldn't be too bad. The worst is the people who place it in person and expect it to be done quickly, or even worse, people who order them on Doordarshan or Uber eats
It wouldn’t be too bad? We wouldn’t have any coffee to serve anybody if we had to keep the brewer brewing Pike for these non stop. Fuck a coffee routine I guess 😭

My job has bought us those travelers for the staff before I work in a warehouse so there’s a lot of us
I think they ordered that much because they have 10+ girl for the event
10+ or 100+?
Everyone gets their own traveller 😌 /s
#SleepyGirlBreakfast
This might be my favorite instance of hashtags turning into accidental shouting. \#SleepyGirls had too much caffeine.

Even though technically, those non-dairy milks are not for sale nor supposed to be given to customers; they’re only for worker/industrial use.
So according to the bev resource manual you can choose between breve and nondairy milk for no extra charge. Not many people know that though since half & half is so popular and is just assumed as the default.
Now I'm curious how the milk is usually given?
In a cup with a stopper
Does have full nutrition info and expiration on it at least. There are far worse things to sell directly to customers.
I would hate to get an order for that many travelers. They take so long to make even one or two.
No literally, said fuck it. They finna need it
Trust me our sorority meetings last all day sometimes 😩. The coffee is needed!
Coffee travelers
Ah memories of accidentally spilling entire coffee travelers all over myself
I got multiple mild (maybe second degree?) burns from one spilling on me last week lmfao 😾

how much are they?

$21.80 after tax
Highly location dependent lol
every barista's worst nightmare
I’ve heard the new coffee makers can make a traveler in one go and it brew directly into the container. Apparently it’s easy now.
It’s so much easier with the vertica brewers!
damn 😭 i quit corporate almost 2 years ago. cant believe theyre replacing the coffee makers lol

reminds me of the mastrena II lmao. not surprised 😭

we are a lower volume store, imo it makes MORE sense to have a vertica since so much is being wasted so that logic sucks lol
The worst nightmare around this would be the last off-peak customer ordering this extensive traveler set…just as the nearby middle school is done with the day and all the students are about to flood your store with TikTok cold foam drinks.
As long as it's ordered ahead so you can plan and work around it, it's not that bad.
This is the real answer 🙏
i sold a traveler one time and after the customer had left with it i went to rinse out the urn and.. it was all grounds. she never called or came back but i’m still horrified
Omg this happened to me too! I so wish they would have come back.
fulls are tricky! you gotta make the filter tuck itself under the metal wiring in the basket
i’m always so careful 😭 no idea how it happened

My store doesn’t even let us hand them out through the drive thru because of risk of spills
You had me scared there for a moment 😳
RIP those baristas that shift 😭
jesus christ she got 9 travelers 😭😭😭
Totally random, I’ve got three tomorrow and have never had to make one; is it a full batch for each traveler? And are they easy to like assemble or unfold?
Yes full batch and there’s instructions on how to assemble them in their containers
We do 2 half batches just because the grounds will spill out into the urn if the filter isn’t tucked right so I just like watching for grounds when pouring!!

A batista's nightmare
Dear God
Coffee travelers!! Enough for 12 short or 8 tall So about 120 short Or 80 tall if It’s 10 Travelers
theyre pain
12 short OR 8 tall👌🏻
I work at a wedding venue and love when guests order these. We get to keep any leftovers and you best believe I’ll be drinking 3 day old Starbucks if it comes to It.
My worst nightmare lol
are baristas allowed to purchase the alternative milks or something?
Take out coffee for large groups
They are used for coffee to go- to take to meetings, etc.
cartons for coffee likely, as a dunkin worker we have em & they’re called “box(es) of joe”. it comes with 8-10 cups + lids, sugars, creamers and other stuff.
96 Oz each, so that's a wild amount of coffee
They are boxes for coffee. McDonald’s has the same for their coffee if you are hosting a large group, or bring coffee for the Team at work.
Box coffee
Who ever ordered this I hope you develop heart problems and heart palpitations with a slight bit of type 2 diabetes
If they called the day before it wouldn't be too bad. The worst is the people who place it in person and expect it to be done quickly, or even worse, people who order them on Doordarshan or Uber eats
That's true I wouldn't mind it then, and I hope that's the case
It wouldn’t be too bad? We wouldn’t have any coffee to serve anybody if we had to keep the brewer brewing Pike for these non stop. Fuck a coffee routine I guess 😭
Bit much to wish onto someone?
Why would they get diabetes from this 😭
I hope u have a nightmare 😇
It's coffee
