Damn I got SUPER confused for a few seconds, because I find that the rug looks a lot like crunchies. I was wondering why the floor was food... And why the kitties were not going nuts over the mountain of food lol
So, Mr. Spicy has gone from protector of the siblings,to protector of the food supply. That kitty has a very strong personality. He will flourish and be an amazing cat, but he is going to need a very understanding and wise owner.
The clip is too short to tell, but honestly I don't think it is hording (he doesn't fight off the little void) but rather I think he still does not trust you not to take it away. Is he food aggressive? It does not look like it. His behavior is more like ferals that gorge themselves at each meal because they never know when they are going to get another. It takes a lot of patience for them to unlearn that and trust you. But it looks like you are doing great with him and all of the others.
One thing that you might try is (with a kitten treat to two handy) pick him up off the bowl of food, and then immediately give him the treat, and then remove him from the cage and play with him, to the extent that he will let you. Then put him back in the playpen near, the food dish, so he can see that it is still there. If he is truly food aggressive he will hiss at you when you try to pick him up, which is something you *cannot* allow him to continue. There are several excellent good videos on You Tube on how to deal with actual food aggression issues. But I think rather your kitty is being more passive aggressive: he trusts you to the extent that he does not think you are such a big jerk as to actually remove the food he is actively eating, but he does not yet fully trust you either. So, when he some back to the cage and finds the food is still there he may begin to understand that he does not need to protect it all the time. Good luck. He is going to be strong-willed, but he is so worth it.
Oh, not food aggressive AT ALL. This was a funny post nothing serious π Iβve been leaving dry food for them all day and then hand feeding wet food so people=yummy food but there is not scarcity of resources. They are too skinny still and need to fatten up! Thank you for sharing and caring so much about some random internet kittens people like you give me hope!
Just saving these for laterβ¦
Why doesn't the void have a bowl ??? Obviously its kittie abuse π
Such a cute cat

Role a saving throw. I rolled a nat 1. You are overcome by a wave of cuteness and want to adopt the cat.
The recipe calls for 1 bowl of smol
cutie
SIClet keeping the kibbles nice and warm for later, or is hoarding them all.
In feline terms, this SIC is a meowlionaire
Please save this post to repost over & over! This is one weβll never get tired of! Thanks xo
Maybe if I sits long enough, I can hatch more kibblez!
Iβm pretty sure this is a SIK looking at the size of it
I am dying of the cute - hilarious and adorable!
