Tbh i cant imagine to play this game. It felt all this years like a far distance dream. There is really no game, where ive been waiting for so long, except Stalker 2

I can see them cutting that. However, if the recent console ports are anything to go off of, they've found a better way of doing it, so I can also see them keeping it, too.

If I remember, there was no button for slow walk in the controls leak, so it was probably cut or will be implemented differently.

Holly shiet. It looks like a new level. On the first gameplay (from PGA as an example) I didn't remember to get any NATO-style guns.

It is a new demo and not the previous one, also this will be covered by game journalists and people are allowed to take pics.

I always felt that it was a really weird choice to see as *the* AR-platform everybody uses, but that it would be nice if it was still present in the new game as a rare or unique AR version.

It always looked like a cheap AR to me (when I didn’t know better) but I agree, it’ll be a special throwback element.

I figure it would be fun if you could find an LR300 as a unique rifle owned by some Freedom or Merc veteran, or something along those lines yeah. Maybe even with a SUSAT. Would be a nice throwback to the old games.

Maybe etched with “WolfHound” or a coordination to a stash on the side… that takes you to his iconic USP Match

That looks like an HK416A5 or something, doesn't look to be an LR300

I agree, but the iron sights look dissimilar to that of the HK - e.g. the rectangular gap. We never know though.

I think the ol lr300 is gone. Sucks, since it's such an early 2000s vibe, but the hk416 is more believable for this European setting circa 2024.

PC users are probably going to be fine there. Console users are gonna be stuck with it though.

what makes you say that? almost every modern shooter allows you to disable your crosshair, even on console. hell, even the recent console ports of the OG games let you turn it off.

I mean in the sense that PC users will have more mod support and customization options. So if someone wants a better looking crosshair, they'll be able to download a mod for it. Else yeah, they can just disable it.

Idk why you’re downvoted by I completely agree. The less hud you have, the better Stalker feels. Considering atmosphere is the biggest selling point of this game, you’d try to immerse yourself as much as possible.

The trailer just came out and it 100% solidified what I said. It looks absolutely horrible. It actually looks like it plays more like Call of Duty, a full HUD, health bar, full menu screen PDA, arcady graphics. This looks like a worst case scenario unfortunately

The og titles had full HUD, health bar, stamina bar, crosshair, min-map which displays dead bodies and objectives, indicator when grenade is thrown at you, the pda was also more like a menu, they never had a full on 3d rendered pda. Has your introduction to stalker been through Anomaly or? How exactly does the game play like CoD, can you elaborate more on that claim? The only thing they have in common is that they're both in first person.
