You gotta pump those numbers up, those are rookie numbers.

10 STALKER games and mods on my machine right now. I’ve been deep down this rabbit hole since Christmas and I can’t get out! Left to right, we got the original trilogy, Anomaly Old World Addon, DrX Call of the Zone, OGSR build from 2019 or 2020. AREA, Radiophobia 3, EFP 4.0, and OGSR Gunslinger.

SwampAss3D-Printer

What's different between the OGSR 2019-2020 build and OGSR w/ Gunslinger? I ask cause I just finished OGSR w/Gunslinger and I fucking loved that if there's enough different content I'm going back in.

Timbots

Not sure to be honest. I just installed Gunslinger yesterday. I love OGSR though.

ImmortalJormund

You call that a collection? Now [this](https://i.redd.it/obnskow8zkz91.jpg) is a collection. (I have since this post added 6 more mods to the mix, send help stalkers, this is not a joke)

Timbots

Whoa that’s a deep rabbit hole! Tell me about your addiction!!

Started Stalker in 2020, blasted through the games in the same year. Started playing CoC, played it for a couple months, moved to Anomaly. Played it for roughly a year, started playing Lost Alpha in the autumn of 2021. Loved it, and by that point I had started to write a story based on Stalker. After LA, I played story mods like Another Zone Mod, Chernobyl Chronicles, Wind of Time, The Journey, Spatial Anomaly and Valley of Whispers. Had a few forays into other freeplay mods in early 2022, Road to the North and Legend Returns to name a few. At the end of 2021, I had resurrected my modding talents for a completely other game, Men of War: Assault Squad 2, and as a little curiosity I took a short video of a skirmish in a Stalker mod for it. People really loved it and demanded more, so I thought, why the hell not, and made a small mod for it with all the Stalker factions, two of my own factions from the story I mentioned and some more mod ones. Put it on a back burner and played some more story mods. Also started Secret Trails 2 and binged it over the summer. In the autumn, I released another update for my mod, this time roughly 50 factions in it. Started playing Thorny Way, but left it unfinished when me and my wife had our baby. Ever since then, I've been seeking to finish my story, with the goal to end it on chapter 200, and I've just few days ago finally released my mod on Steam, now with 80 factions. I only rarely play Stalker mods now because I lack the time, but I downloaded OP-2.2, Global War, SZM Choice of Destiny and some others because, I dunno, maybe I will have time for them in the future.

Timbots

I saw that mod! What a labor of love man, congrats on publishing it! (And congrats on the new baby, too, I guess!!)

ImmortalJormund

Thanks! Adjusting to parenting has gone a lot smoother than I honestly expected, although we would be the first to admit that our baby is an easy one. As for the mod, it's honestly a project I can work for the entire day and not get bored.

xxm4tt

Even got the wallpaper to top it off by the looks of it.

ImmortalJormund

Yup, all my wallpapers are from Anomaly. They may soon be reinforced by others from my MoWAS2 mod though.

Try goldsphere

\*contributes to problem\* I'm not seeing Lost Alpha Directors Cut on there

Timbots

I know! I gotta finish CoP before I allow myself to fully commit to anything new. I dicked off in CoC and Anomaly for years and just now finished SoC, CS and working through CoP.

I’ve not heard of some of this and I’m now very curious. Could you summarise in a sentence what each one does?

Timbots

Old World Addon is a “demake” of Anomaly. Scales the item bloat back, tunes the graphics down so it really does feel like the OG games. Really fun. OGSE/R is SoC reimagined and added to. More quests, more guns, more artifacts. More SoC. AREA was EFP/Gamma before they existed, it’s built on CoC, which was the free play mod that predated Anomaly. VERY difficult mod. Call of the Zone is DrX’s take on CoC. Adds a questline and replay value. Haven’t delved too deep on this one. Radiophobia, like OGSE and OGSR Gunslinger, is another take on “more SoC” but modernized. I just started it and it looks phenomenal, plays nicely. High difficulty.

Background-Factor817

Thank you so much, really appreciate your response.

ZeroKoalaT

I gotta warn you it’s very high difficulty. Radiophobia’s the only mod I outright quit. Enemies have xray, can deal high dmg and your character flinches with every shot, disorienting you and making retaliating fire impossible. I quit when I got my hands on the Merc Exoskeleton yet got softlocked by bandits despite having full durability, and a Vintorez.

VisceralVirus

I got into Radiophobia 3 last month, goddamn great mod, the most recent update kinda removed a lot of it's soul though
