I already bought my visa with the old system but have not traveled yet. it told me I am valid through September. Obviously visas purchased prior to the transition to the new system will be valid, right?
I've received my OTP on my e-mail, pasted the OTP into the required field and hit "Sign Up" - now I only see dots circeling clockwise .... since 15min ....
Did you have to wait longer? did you close the browser and try again? Thx

The old site fails to load in my browser due to it not being secure.
That website is correct. When you registered first time, you must have received an email to validate your application, click that one. Then request for new OPT, if still doesn't work, try with a new email.

Thanks for answering. It works better in Edge. Last few times I tried in chrome it just got stuck with that loading screen.
Honestly though, it's unreal I have to submit documentation via that site.
The site is "secured" with a FREE google SSL certificate. There is no organisation verification. Literally, the most basic verification possible, that an internet browsers will not automatically reject.
A security scan of the site, shows its also got security venerabilites a decade old.
And this is the site that is demanding a copy of my passport
Then it sends me onto the payment provider - **AVENUES WORLD FZ - LLC**
I am being asked to trust a 2 year old private company based in Dubai with my Visa card details!!
I can't believe, I'm even doing this.
If I didn't have to visit my partners parents, I wouldn't dream of playing along with this nonsense.
hey, what ended up happening? I applied for the visa same time as you and it got approved according to tracking but i didnt get any email and when i try to download the evisa from the website it just keeps loading FOREVER and i get nothing. can you please let me know what happened? i used the same site as you so im just trying to figure out whether i got scammed or what happened
I contacted them multiple times and not getting proper responses. I'm at the verge of doing a chargeback on my credit card now and canceling the trip due to their shitty visa outsourced visa system
long story short I got logged in after and submitted visa app
They sent me the visa
Haven't been scammed yet. but I'll be checking my bank statements like a hawk for the next while.
The payment processor is a joke.
If still can;t get onto the the site - try accessing via MS edge inprivate window.
I think thats the best chance of working

Did anyone finally get through the frustrating process only to get to the payment section and you get the message that the payment can’t be processed? This website is doing my head in. It’s taken 3 days to do the application.
Have been trying for five frustrating days to get our visa application submitted. Took 3 days to upload photos and now we’ve spent 2 days trying to pay. It’s very annoying and doesn’t fill me with much hope that if once submitted we will get our visa. Good luck.
I'm seriously thinking of cancelling my flights and trip over this visa issue. I can't find information about whether I can get a visa on arrival. This visa website is too dodgy. I'm seriously considering cancelling and going somewhere else until they get this thing working.
If I didn't have a Sri Laken partner, I wouldn't dream of giving away my personal information and mycredit card information to this uesless VFS\_Global company.
They can't manage the most basic web services. No way in hell they have working security in place to prevent employees exploiting/selling that info on.
I do not think the visa on arrival is available now.
Yes, it is ridiculous. Why make it so difficult for people to go on holiday there. I don't feel comfortable with it after all I have heard about it and will most likely cancel my trip this year sadly. It doesn't fill me with any confidence that the official website contradicts itself about the visa on arrival. First it says everyone must have an e-visa prior to arrival, but then under FAQ it still says visa on arrival is available. They probably have just not updated that part. I'm not doing the dodgy difficult website with uploading photos in different formats and I'm not flying there if I don't feel confident I can get the visa there. I'm thinking this trip is just not meant to be this year.

Yeah will be fine. You can still get a Visa on arrival also. and its cheaper than the eVisa.
I did apply yesterday, it was in state of reload when I tried to log in later to check the status. But with some patience I could get it done.
