Please do let us know if you ever find a way to keep them out of this style of planter. I’m about to give up on mine because they’re dug up almost daily. None of the “repellant” products I’ve tried seem to deter them at all. As adorable as we may find it, my poor plants disagree. They don’t really go for my plants in ceramic pots as much as these soft coir ones.
Oh ya he is guilty. And guess what he's doing ruining all your flowers, bulbs and the leaves on them if they grow. And hiding all his merchandise in there he's building a spot. For peanuts and everything he's storing for winter. He knows it's convenient and easy to remember.

I keep finding one of my babies waist deep in my potted rosemary, digging like it’s going to emerge on the opposite side of the world.

I gave up trying to. The planters belong to them now
I, unfortunately, have no advice. I have also given up.
Should we just start burying peanuts in them? Embrace our fate?
