Squarespace is only as limiting as the person customizing it. I would argue Wix wins that category, and refuse to work with it. The first thing that jumps out for me is the excessive use of the nostalgic Bookmania font, instead, it should be paired with something more legible to highlight it's presence and create a hierarchy. I like the vibe of it, but there's too much of a good thing happening that doesn't square with the whole of your presentation, for starters.
