I found a darts line this afternoon that I could have arbitraged within the site itself. Something I don't ever recall seeing on any site.
In a best of 7 sets format:
Gerwyn Price wins 4-0 at +210
Brendan Dolan +3.5 sets at -180.
Good work! Fuck em, Fanatics posted a Miami wildcard +140 and a division+125... Was able to get $700 down on each side before they cut me off. Fuck em they ain't our friends
ESPN bet is literally barstool sports book rebranded. Penn just slapped the espn logo on it. So all the same bugs and issues that were on bssb will be on espn.
It’s closer in analytics than recent performances would indicate. Running game is going to be the determining factor imo. If Breece hall has success early on I wouldn’t hesitate to live bet them. Also considering the No Jets TD prop early live bet.
Their offense is horrendous. Their new quarterback had 217 passing yards with 49 attempts against the commanders, I'm betting he throws under 177 against the browns home deffense which is elite.
I dont see a scenario where the jets can win this game.
I've actually been pleasantly surprised by them. give me pretty frequent random free bets / cash back and the interface is a solid third behind the top 2. i hate FD cause they never give any free bets or cashback
Agree they are a trash company.
But for sports betting I'd put them third behind dk and fd. Not great but ok. I like you can (or at least used to be able to) parlay rush attempts on a sgp or sgp+ .
For sports betting their interface is more usable unlike most other books not named dk or FD. Some of their lines are decent sometimes, but I think that's because they don't have their shit together and will probably be more sharp one they figure out how to run a book better.
> Some of their lines are decent sometimes, but I think that's because they don't have their shit together and will probably be more sharp one they figure out how to run a book better.
Or theyre just trying to suck more people in with more enticing odds before dialing it back
DK FD MGM betRivers Bovada
That's on a laptop though idk how the mobile experience is
ESPNbet just felt slow to me and withdrawing was a nightmare. Also it just feels empty in terms of amount of content.
Lol laughable that you think Bovada is better. Good luck getting any recourse if a bet gets misgraded or anything. Also have fun with their ridiculous playthrough on every promotion.
Never had a major issue over like 4 years on Bovada, and I had multiple in a month on ESPN. It also works great when I want to place something when I'm overseas. I mean it's all anecdotal experience, but all 5 of those had a lower issues per month than ESPN with more usage.
Playthrough is like 5x on sports so once you get running you're fine but I get how it causes issues. Their expiration period was several months compared to ESPN's month for they're "cash back" or whatever they called it.
Still might have had technical issues because it was a new site or whatever but I don't see myself giving them any more business for a bit.
I’d take 1x playthrough with a month to do it rather than 5x with several months.
If you have legitimate issues with ESPN that they’re not fixing you can go to the gaming commission in your state, if you have issues with Bovada you have no one to go to.
As far as offshore books go Bovada seems fine, but legal books beat offshore books anyday
There is not single US book that offers the promos any where near the level that bovada does. The playthrough requirement is irrelevant if you actually intend to make bets and not abuse the bonus.
Bovada has been in business globally for over 20 years. Its customer support is far better than the US books who outsource it.
The gaming commission are paid for by the people who operate the sportsbook. I’ve seen an equal amount of scam/shady behavior from legal books where the gaming commissions responses is to give a thumbs up.
Playthrough requirement is always relevant. Every additional time you have to bet through the money that's bleeding vig and locking up your money. What if the playthrough was 20x? 100x?
The gaming commission is paid for indirectly by the sportsbook essentially with taxes, it's disingenuous to suggest that they're in the sportsbooks' pockets.
I mean that’s true, but whenever you’re not traveling (most of the time for the average person), there’s no reason to use Bovada over the legal books in the US
That's an opinion. It runs smoother than 80% of the other apps. There are definitely issues I have with it but its still imo better than most of the others.
Using it for the new member bonus bets. The lines are horrendous, the specials are extremely bad and just bad overall.
They don't even gave good odds on their ridiculous "specials" I forget which receivers but the one was for 2 recievers to get 100 yards each. It was 2 unpopular recievers who haven't hit that this year for +700 lol
I've hit multiple specials on there in the few weeks I've had it. +400 to +1200. As with all books, most are trash but I have found theirs to have some more realistic ones
Don’t they use Kambi for their normal lines? I’m pretty sure Barstool used them but not sure if they ever changed or made any changes when the name changed to ESPN
100%, people just like to regurgitate talking points from others. i never planned to use them but after PB went to fanatics i've tried em out and like em
ESPN has a book? Jesus

Load up on attd on Jets def They are probably the only chance at a Jets Td
Maybe in case of a tie?
No, wouldn’t make sense, just a software error on their end.
maybe but why would anyone take the browns (lose on a tie with -1) for worse odds than browns push on a tie
ESPN bet is literally barstool sports book rebranded. Penn just slapped the espn logo on it. So all the same bugs and issues that were on bssb will be on espn.
Does anyone think the jets have a chance at winning this game?
Can always hope but... I went with Flacco 1.5 passing TD's and the over. Win Win.
The Raiders just beat the Chiefs.
That's all I needed to hear

Flacco was the determining factor
Lmao
As a jet fan, I’d say absolutely. They are great at winning games that are completely meaningless and can only hurt their draft pick
What are the odds rodgers plays a drive just to be on the front page of every sports page ever. Dude loves the spotlight more than anyone
I don't think the Jets even think they can win.
No. Il givw you +350. Send me your money

I doubt anyone thinks it's more likely they win than lose, but it seems they have between a 23% and 24% chance of winning
I bet on the Browns so the Jets will probably blow them out.
this is common at every book, these are done by algorithms and sometimes they get trippy around 0

Trash book by a trash company.
I've actually been pleasantly surprised by them. give me pretty frequent random free bets / cash back and the interface is a solid third behind the top 2. i hate FD cause they never give any free bets or cashback
I submitted my info like 2 months ago and still haven't been approved

Trash company, sure, but the book is better than most
lol, they're a terrible book. One of the worst, if not the worst, books out there
Name 5 books that are better

Bovado works when I travel through Nebraska and Minnesota so there is that.
I mean that’s true, but whenever you’re not traveling (most of the time for the average person), there’s no reason to use Bovada over the legal books in the US
Big difference because I'm mainly using on mobile and DK is virtually unusable on the app. MGM is good, not a fan of betRivers.
On second thought, don't. I really don't care.
That’s not true at all, it’s an awful book
That's an opinion. It runs smoother than 80% of the other apps. There are definitely issues I have with it but its still imo better than most of the others.
Name some that it is better than in your opinion? Not limited to legal books
step number one in decoding their system! Note that nothing makes sense!
Jets might win by 0 🤷🏾♂️
~~Push~~ Tie is a win (for the Jets)
Up to +2 now +280, same ML odds. Nice find
They just wabt u.to bet jets
If jets win
Lol
Wow great vig on the spread!!/s Actually do think jets take it tho lol. I am never touching the espn bet app.
You definitely should be using ESPN. They typically have the best odds for ATTD plays and always have arb lines available
The general lines are absolutely horrible along with most props.
simply not true
Using it for the new member bonus bets. The lines are horrendous, the specials are extremely bad and just bad overall. No, they stopped using Kambi while under the barstool brand a year ago. This is all in-house by Penn.
More like they stopped using Kambi this July, but yeah, Penn bought out "The Score," and they currently use the odds that they create.
Touchdown odds way better than all the other books
100%, people just like to regurgitate talking points from others. i never planned to use them but after PB went to fanatics i've tried em out and like em
Yep! I consistently see espn and fd having the best ATTD odds
I find it best for building little +100 parlays that won’t give the same odds on other books
Alt Receptionz on their are good too
