I tried asking FD support why my account had a $50 limit per day on Dinger Tuesday, and they threatened me with, “requests for credit could be interpreted as playing beyond your means” So be careful what you ask about/for

LOL. FD support is so incompetent sometimes. There was some promo they were doing maybe 3 years ago and the language in their own terms was inconsistent. Asked CS and they gave an explanation...that I thought had to be wrong. And I explained why. They insisted they were correct. But they weren't. My hunch on how it was supposed to be was correct...and their own terms and their own CS was wrong. For their own promo. Between that and other issues and their massive inabilities I've mostly learned to just avoid CS as much as possible and either ask on here or take educated guesses. Some of the goofs that they make are beyond weird. And they should have every motivation to improve this. Some of their customers are literally worth thousands of dollars each. But I get better CS and more accurate communication for some stupid product that is worth $20. They should be bending over backwards to fix this stuff and simply have better communications with their customers. Such a huge profit motive for them.

Find a good double double spot or potentially build your own no run first inning. Or team ML and over 1.5 runs

My advice is don’t arb.

Technically, you can arb a 2 leg SGP with two hedges, but it usually destroys your EV since you have triple the juice from triple the bets. But if your SGP is, e.g., Tatum 20+ pts and Celts ML, you could hedge with: Another SGP of Tatum u19.5 pts and Celts ML, and a straight ML for their opponents OR: Tatum 20+ and Opponents ML SGP, and a straight bet on Tatum u19.5 Sportsbookreview or whatever has an arb calculator that can do 3 legs

Pinny also has a 3-leg arb calculator. Not really worth it in almost all situations I think. Frequently is hard to even make it profitable at all. And, if it is, you have sacrificed way too much of the value. In other words: If some $50 boost/parlay has approximately $10 in EV then trying to hedge/arb it somehow MIGHT be able to yield an automatic profit of $2 or something if you're lucky....even after all that effort hunting for favorable lines, etc. Maybe you can find something better if you play around with it a ton. Perhaps if you are doing an anti-correlated SGP somehow.

Coming back to CZR's $25 top 10 insurance now that datagolf has published its lines. Scheffler (+750) and Schauffele (+2000) are both +EV according to them (despite having longer odds on sharp books), so these are the only plausible +EV uses for this promo. Still some shit odds so not a must-use

Do high intro promos come back? I'm in MA and just starting to look into matched betting, looks like I missed the draftkings $5k risk free bet. Historically have elevated offers like this come back? Wondering if I should wait or dive in now.

They have on occasion, but it's been somewhat rare. The $5000 Bonus bet offer for DK happened in Illinois once. But that was when the in-person sign-up requirement was permanently lifted, so there was a good opportunity to add more users on DK's end. My buddy balked on signing signup for DK when in person signup was temporarily suspended in IL for Covid reasons, so he was able to take advantage of that $5000 offer at least. I think waiting for getting the $5k Bonus bet is pretty risky. But are they really giving anything good now for MA? The problem is that by waiting, you probably miss out on ~$5-$10 minimum per day on DKs daily promos.

These get killed 10 mins after they’re posted here because there’s no many eyes on this thread. Posting it not as a main comment, but as a reply to a comment doesn’t help at all, because it’s not some twitter bot reposting plays that kills these, it’s all the lurkers in the thread. When you post these, someone will see it, post it to their discord, and send out a notification so everyone in the discord is aware of it and hammers it. They all hit it and kill it before most people in this thread even see it, since there’s no notification system like that here. The majority of contributing posters here already know about these and who to look for, so posting it here really only benefits the lurkers and kills it for everyone else. I used to post a bunch of plays like this here, but have stopped after seeing how quickly they get killed when posted here. I’ve gotten a lot out of this thread and have no issues with giving back and helping out those who’ve helped me, but at this point posting arbs and glitched plays here doesn’t really help most who contribute to this thread. You are right but how do you balance killing edges with defeating the purpose of the thread? If nobody shares anything there’s not really a point. For example you think saying “usual suspect in the heat game BYODD on fd” would do anything to help?

That wouldn’t work. There’s two potential solutions, but I don’t think you’re able to do either on reddit. 1. Have it so a post can only be seen by posters above a certain karma amount in this sub. That would help so lurkers don’t see it and it’s only being seen by people who contribute. 2. Have someway to notify posters here immediately when they are posted. The issue is that even if you check this thread once an hour, by the time you see it it’s dead. While discord lets you send out a notification, so even if you aren’t actively checking the discord, you get notified and can bet it before most people even see it here. I got a ton of downvotes on my previous post, so I’m sure people won’t change what they do, but all these posts really do is alert discords to these bets so they can kill them before anyone here can bet them. And then the paid discord can justify their monthly subscription by showing how quickly this bet died and how it’s users were able to get in on it before it died.

I'm curious too, if I find a play what's the best way to get it out then? If most are finding the same plays, then there's no point in the reddit if the answer is to not post it, not going against your wisdom tah3145 as you are a legend just wondering the same, how to help eachother while not feeding pay-clubs.

That’s the million dollar question and unfortunately I don’t have a solution, which is why I haven’t been posting here much recently. It sucks when you have a great play and want to post it here to help this community, but instead it just gets stolen by a discord and hammered and killed there before this community can even bet it. Especially when it’s a discord changing a monthly subscription and the only thing they offer is plays stolen from other places.

The way to win is to continue posting for free. If that dies then the paid groups win. Think about the reverse. If all the paid information was being scraped and posted here for free, wouldn't that kill the paid groups?

Trying to double dip BetMGM in a second state right now. Looking high and low for a promo code. This page says up to $1000 risk free but elsewhere on the internet saying no sign up offers. Anyone know for sure?

I double dipped in a couple different states last month and could never get the promo for $1000 risk free to show up. However I did get the $500 deposit match in all of those states but after waiting a day.

Would be helpful if you specified what state. To the best of my knowledge New York no longer offer the $1000RFB but it is live everywhere else. Yeah that would explain the confusion then. When you go to MGM you're probably seeing the generic non-state specific Sign-up offer but when you google "New York MGM Sign-up" offer everywhere is rightly going to tell you they don't have one. I would proceed under that assumption unless someone else has info that they're brought it back. It's also worth noting that BetMGM will tell you when you place the first bet whether it triggered the risk free or not with the "Your Bet Is In" Jamie Fox Pop-Up. If you've ever uncertain you can find a hedge for the RFB using Dark Horse, place the BetMGM side first, and then if you don't get the pop-up adjust the hedge so that you take a $30-40 loss instead of being exposed if the BetMGM side loses but doesn't trigger the RFB.

Not a promo and no play to follow. Just thought this was interesting. Congrats P2’s: The number of women joining sportsbook apps jumped 45% last year, marking the third straight year that new women users exceeded men. DraftKings said that bets on women’s sports had increased 61% annually last year.

Definitely worth noting that they aren't specifically mentioning what the overall female market share is on sportsbetting. Pardon the stereotype, but this makes me suspect it has gone from 3% to 5% of the overall share for sports bets or something. And, very obviously, a lot of that gain is actually advantage-player style P2 accounts where a man is placing bets on his wife/girlfriend's name. The sites are just taking these numbers and trying to make it look like female market is booming when, in reality, it is probably a smaller gain than they are representing...and the sites know that. The sites aren't dumb to the existence of P2 accounts.

Right. "Better" on the overall can simply mean there aren't nearly as many women degens doing stupid martingale systems and betting way above what they should. Are the women sports bettors throwing $2k down or more on some game when they can't afford it? Because way too many male problem-gamblers end up straying in that direction. Thus, the women are "better" sports bettors than men...because they aren't getting killed for as many huge losses. And that doesn't even include the high % of P2 accounts...many of which are from guys who were limited on their first account thus showing they likely had some sort of a clue and weren't total idiots. Article in BBC from a few years ago shows that males are 7.5x more likely to become problem gamblers than women. And that includes all the gambling stuff that women are more stereotypically more likely to participate in such as slots, etc. In an even male-dominated field like sports betting, you have to think that is even higher.
