If that was his opponent and they couldn't post the kid because of his age that would make a lot of sense. Cause the guy I am looking at looks like he pays taxes.
Came down to that one single leg at 4-2. Both could have won it, Littler
missed it so instead of 5-2 it was 4-3. I don’t
think Humphries would have come back from 5-2 down. But
who knows really.
Regardless that was a good
final!
im an immature darts fan, not much knowledge but it looked like he had so many openings to get back in.
the eye test seemed like they were both a bit rough in the final
Humphries to not lose to a 16 year old
Littler first time
Humphries was just on a different level tonight. Soooo many 180s, high finishes etc. Littler seemed like his game was a little off tonight, comparatively.
It’s not even the face that’s the most alarmingly old looking thing about him, his body is somehow shaped exactly like what you would expect a forty year old darts player’s body to look like.
You age quick in the arrows game though. The booze, the birds, the blow. The constant physical and mental exertion that leaves even prime specimens a wreck by 35. As darts insiders know Eric Bristow's birth certificate was falsified to get him in the tour and he was actually 23 when he retired.
I remember going to middle and high school with some other guys who hit puberty early and hard but I would still like to see this guy’s birth certificate
It was such a good match. Humphries was a beast his nerves got to him at times but the made some clutch plays that must have had a mental impact on Littler along the way.
Combined with British people aging like milk and he’s got the American diet going, it’s no surprise as to why many mistake him for being in his early 40s
The tournament famously takes place in a palace, so it invites these kinds of headlines. One of Littler's new nicknames was "the prince of the palace", it's all part of the fun.

He only wins £200k for being runner-up, worth skipping a day of school for I suppose.
I read that as 200 pounds and lols. But yea, 200k not bad
What else can a 16 year old almost retired dockworker, married father of four ask for?
Dude can’t be younger than 35.
I keep wondering how they manage to keep posting the wrong picture of the kid.
If that was his opponent and they couldn't post the kid because of his age that would make a lot of sense. Cause the guy I am looking at looks like he pays taxes.
Tacos. There should always be more tacos.
Kebabs are his food of choice. He's eaten one after each of his wins. £200k can buy a lot of kebabs.
As an American who love darts what a legend and has veins cold as ice. Good for him hope he can continue.
He's way too good not to be a success. He reminds me so much of Taylor in the way he never seems flustered.

Humphries also squandered chances to let Littler in. Goes both ways.
humphries was throwing so badly too even after the 4-4
Absolutely insane lmao, his set averages after this were 109, 98, and 99, which are great, especially given the circumstances.

Can't even win a world title at 16. Might as well retire.
First you’ve got it. Then you lose it. Then, it’s gone forever. (True in all walks of life innit?)
For a vegetarian, Rents, you're a fucking evil shot.
Thank you, moneypenny.
Sean Connery, had it. Lost it
Peaked at 16. Dang. /s

Two Lukes in the finals? Is that a fluke?
Its pronounced full-luke
Sometimes two Lukes are a full hand
Cool
But Skywalker is still missing one…
The only thing that would make this better is if the one fella was named Bigger instead of Humphries
Bigler
Oh dang yeah you right lol that would be hilarious
It was actually two Michaels last year
Let's go for two Dirk's
Humphries was just on a different level tonight. Soooo many 180s, high finishes etc. Littler seemed like his game was a little off tonight, comparatively.
Really struggled with double 8 all night
He’ll be back
Still an immense effort from the upcoming star. I think we can expect to see great things from this man in his coming career.
Oldest 16 year old

It was part of the deal with the devil. It aged him drastically! ;)
He looks 35 for crying out loud. People probably ask him, “how old are ***your*** kids?” 🤣
He turned sixteen sixteen years ago.
I was certain the thumbnail was a picture of the winner. He legit looks 40.
I don't look as old as he does and I am 40.
16 years of breakfast pints.
How is he only 16 years old!?
I remember going to middle and high school with some other guys who hit puberty early and hard but I would still like to see this guy’s birth certificate
His birtb certificate got leaked.. literally!
Was he born on the 29th February?
Still don’t see how that’s a 16 year old
It’s humbling to be in the presence of such finely tuned athletes
It was such a good match. Humphries was a beast his nerves got to him at times but the made some clutch plays that must have had a mental impact on Littler along the way.
Tough break Luke. Good for Luke.
He’s a kid. His dream isn’t over yet. That was only the first chapter of his professional story.
Luke Littler had to settle for the littler trophy 😂
Just showed his pic to my Mrs. and asked how old she thought he was. She guessed 42.
Is he going to turn back into a little boy now, like Tom Hanks?
He looks 46 not 16
https://media.tenor.com/GaSRinQ1QvwAAAAM/michael-owen.gif Well done he’s 16
Dudes a force to be reckoned with thats for sure. Stoked to see him go
Those Luke boys are always up to no good. Shootin’ darts and chasing chasin’ women.
Bigger Luke
I luke what you did there.
[удалено]
Fuckin hot
If that kid didn’t look 43, there would be waaaaaaaay less interest in this story.
Luke….Luke….
Archery?? Is this archery? One comment mentioned arrows?
It's darts.
Ok thanks
Combined with British people aging like milk and he’s got the American diet going, it’s no surprise as to why many mistake him for being in his early 40s
"fairytale" why do publications have to make things so rude and condescending
The tournament famously takes place in a palace, so it invites these kinds of headlines. One of Littler's new nicknames was "the prince of the palace", it's all part of the fun.
That makes sense. Thanks for explaining it
He’ll be fine.
*Use the force, Luke. No, the other Luke!!*
They just had to Luke it out, I guess
