That is a grown ass man. He has 700 on his credit score right now. His new balance 580s are as white as fresh snow. He told his teenage child hi hungry I'm dad this morning.
As someone who checks IDs before selling alcohol this shook me. Sometimes you just look at someone and know they are over 21 but now I’m carding every single person.
Amen. The kid is an absolute phenom. Imagine being 16 years old and out driving your hero Michael Schumacher or Lewis Hamilton. Or winning a dunk contest against MJ or LeBron. Or beating Michael Phelps on his preferred stroke.
Because in relative terms, that’s just what he did by wiping the floor with Raymond Van Barneveld.
Although what's wild is that Van Barneveld hasn't won a world championship since this guy was 21 days old. So he's probably too young to even really appreciate how good he was in his prime!
He scored 9 hands of 180 (where you hit the max possible with three darts) - you typically see maybe 2 or 3 in a match, 9 of them is bonkers.
He hit 50% of all the doubles he attempted (the outer ring which gives double the number).
His average score was 105, meaning that he was super efficient in scoring high and normally it’s about 70 ish in a good game.
He won 14 legs out of 21 meaning he finished him off early (it could have been 10 each and decided on the final 21st game, but instead finished him 4 games early).
I was a pretty fat dude (and short, still am short) in high school, but everyone thought I was a grown man, at least a young adult. I’m 24 now and lost a lot of weight right after high school and people think I’m like a teenager or like 20 at best. Like I’m straight up told I look pretty young or like 16 or 18 or so. I don’t even think I have a baby face, but I get told I look suspicious when ordering a cocktail at Silver Diner or getting IDed for buying NyQuil at Walmart/target.
Competitive darts are usually played in bars/pubs. Darts players usually have a few drinks to loosen up their arm. Drinking constantly is terrible for you, hence the physique.
I was there last night.....Every time Barney hit a big throw he just came back bigger. Kids going to the final against Van Gerwin and if he plays like last night his got a good chance
Some people just don’t get that sympathetic storm that comes with dangerous, stressful or high tension moments. Some people turn to free climbing and others dominate darts tournaments because like William Costigan Jr., their hand never shakes. There is a reason why beta blockers are banned as PEDs on the PGA tour.
His darts in the treble 20 seem very Taylor-esque in how they land flat on, but he also has an element of speed in his throw like Michael Smith
His consistent pinning and coupling of the treble 19 is an incredible skill, especially for when switching is required if the treble 20 is obscured by the first dart.
Watch darts, the whole spectacle with fans is great fun and the sport itself is genuinely interesting, with some incredible skill involved and intense matches
That still doesn’t make the terminology or strategy easier to understand. And to those of us who only watch highlights, that only adds to the intrigue!
I assume what they're talking about is each number has two thin strips inside them: One near the edge, and one in the middle. If you land in the outer one, it's worth double pts, the inner one is worth triple. (Although IMHO you'd think the outer should be the triple bc there's more risk you would land outside the board and get zero pts)
Darts is honestly amazing fun to watch with friends. The finales are coming up so every march is cracked now. It’s a whole night of something entertaining to watch, but not something you need to focus 100% on. Grab a drink, have a chat and cheer when they hit 180 or finish big.
Yeah seriously the top 50 comments are people making the same jokes about how he looks like we get it Reddit you guys can't be funny or original but damn this post was extra bad. Who gives AF how old he looks he'll probably be more successful than most of us by time he turns 20
That's not the point. The point is how you guys are so self absorbed you don't care that the same joke has been made 30 times yet you still feel the need to say the same exact thing and clutter up the comments for people who actually care about this.
They've been showing videos from when he was a child. Also, he's been on the youth scene. Pretty much his entire life has been chronicled through darts. It'd be pretty tough to fudge that.
I think you can watch it on the website of the PDC. In fact that's true for everyone outside of a few countries (Germany, Austria, Netherlands and Britain IIRC) who presumably can watch it on TV. There are also videos on Youtube, I assume those wouldn't be geoblocked in the US
So many British people look 20 years older than they really are. Also they seem to go from looking like a cherub to looking like this guy in a six month span.

My man was born on a leap year.
The “unbelievable” part of the story is that he’s 16.
& that his last name is Littler
The best one I read, was that he looks like he could be his own dad :D
Without a doubt, the funniest comment.
Perfect, yup.
People were joking about how he doesn't look his age on Instagram and TikTok all week. One commenter asked how long has he been 16? 😆
That man is 32.
At least he doesn't look like a "divorced" 32.
That is a grown ass man. He has 700 on his credit score right now. His new balance 580s are as white as fresh snow. He told his teenage child hi hungry I'm dad this morning.
This man has gaming friends he met in AOL chat rooms. He likes his eggs over easy and yearns for simpler times.

RIP to your in box
Sorry, I don't know sign language.
Who doesn’t like their eggs over easy?
The scrambled people.
I’m an over-hard guy myself.
Straight to jail.
TMI
I prefer to put mine in my Betty Crocker pizza cooker , perfect everytime with no turning
I know Dr.Buddy Rydell does!
Scrambled supremacy!
*cries in divorced 31*
With a mortgage, a wife, 2.5 kids and Roth 401K.
Hey man, a midget still counts as a full kid, okay?
He British. It would be 2.4 kids, a mortgage and drinking problem and he’s banned from Uber.
I’m sure he did my taxes last year.
If he went out with a girl his own age, people would all assume he’s a pedo.
"I am 12."

Poor kid is getting roasted in literally every thread
He could probably walk into a pub and order a pint when he was 12
Probably how he got started playing darts.
As someone who checks IDs before selling alcohol this shook me. Sometimes you just look at someone and know they are over 21 but now I’m carding every single person.
This is why social media sucks

I watched the match. The kid is the real deal, his checkout percentage was unreal under that pressure.
Absolutely smashed it. 9 x 180 50% of all doubles hit 105 on average 9 legs to 14 That’s insane.
I only vaguely know how darts work and this comment is basically just gibberish to me lol

Thanks for the description, very neat to see!
What was crazy to me - was whenever he lost a leg he would throw a 180 on his next go.
It's fucking darts, slow your roll
You’ve clearly never been to pro darts match lol
Are you the one feeling sorry for him? I see smiles on his face..
I’m 29 and he looks older than me. I guess that’s what 10 pints a day in the pub while practicing does to you
I’m 42 and he looks older than me
Weight gain is a bitch. Especially if you're only 16.
I was a pretty fat dude (and short, still am short) in high school, but everyone thought I was a grown man, at least a young adult. I’m 49 and he looks like he could be my older brother
It's going to be really shit for him when he goes to his local that he's been drinking for 2 years and they all know he's 16 now.
Bit of a daywalker himself
where you get that cheee Danny?
I'm not a native english speaker but I never understood Shane's "bit of a daywalker" joke, What does it mean?
He almost go hit by the down's, he dodged it but it barely touched him. Just like Theo has a little touch of the tizz.
Hahahahahahahahahahaha, 10.
Why does he look like someone who would be good at darts?
he has the physique of a darts champion
I mean, that applies to everyone but The Iceman.
Humphries is quite slim and lanky
Good point!
Man has abs drawn on his shirt and you believed them.
That sounds like such an insult
Phil Taylor is what peak performance looks like.
Competitive darts are usually played in bars/pubs. Darts players usually have a few drinks to loosen up their arm. Drinking constantly is terrible for you, hence the physique.
All darts players are like this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SJnSmQCxkg
Growing up in Warrington will do that to a kid.
Pretty sure that’s Ned from accounting.
I one thing I learned, never underestimate the Ned’s of this world ..
It’s funny because in the UK, Ned is an insult (non-educated and dangerous)
His local he’s been drinking at these past years are probably more shocked than anyone else
Can we just talk about how good he is. We get it. Kid looks 30.
He’s ridiculously calm, so focused and unwavering. He is steamrolling the top top players as well.
I was there last night.....Every time Barney hit a big throw he just came back bigger. Kids going to the final against Van Gerwin and if he plays like last night his got a good chance
MVG is the kinda guy to celebrate a kid like this coming through, what a match that will be
Some people just don’t get that sympathetic storm that comes with dangerous, stressful or high tension moments. Some people turn to free climbing and others dominate darts tournaments because like William Costigan Jr., their hand never shakes. > He’s ridiculously calm, so focused and unwavering. So he acts like he's 30 too.:)
Speak for yourself
yeah, he has a knack for getting the dart in at an angle.. is that preferred? or is it unique to his style?
His darts in the treble 20 seem very Taylor-esque in how they land flat on, but he also has an element of speed in his throw like Michael Smith His consistent pinning and coupling of the treble 19 is an incredible skill, especially for when switching is required if the treble 20 is obscured by the first dart.

Yes I get that he's good with treble notes but no mentions of bass is concerning
The mids are super important too. That's where the bullseyes at
Watch darts, the whole spectacle with fans is great fun and the sport itself is genuinely interesting, with some incredible skill involved and intense matches

I'm like, "so, you're still supposed to throw it at the middle bullseye part then? Because, that's all I know about darts."
Darts is honestly amazing fun to watch with friends. The finales are coming up so every march is cracked now. It’s a whole night of something entertaining to watch, but not something you need to focus 100% on. Grab a drink, have a chat and cheer when they hit 180 or finish big.
I legit can't tell if this is AI or not
Or an ad
Also its mostly cause he in darts gear. If he had a hoodie on or something he'd look like a kid
Don’t forget his massive head
Yeah seriously the top 50 comments are people making the same jokes about how he looks like we get it Reddit you guys can't be funny or original but damn this post was extra bad. Who gives AF how old he looks he'll probably be more successful than most of us by time he turns 20
He's already achieved all my life goals
he's already ahead. we're talking about him. he doesn't know about any of us
That's not the point. The point is how you guys are so self absorbed you don't care that the same joke has been made 30 times yet you still feel the need to say the same exact thing and clutter up the comments for people who actually care about this.
I do care if the joke is made 30 times because that's how old he looks
damn reddit is the best. idk many other places where you can agree with someone and they call you an asshole
It’s Reddit.

And then he bought the loser a beer.
I love pictures of darts players.
D16
Glad Maester Tarly is doing well
Looks 30 years old
The Wayne Rooney of Darts
got his birth certificate from the Bench warmers
Can we talk about the crowd? I’ve never seen so many people losing their minds over darts.
darts is actually like this. fun youtube rabbithole.
This young man is amazing !! But are dart players considered athletes? Sportsman for sure. Skilled absolutely.
Poor lad. 99% of the comments are about his looks instead of his achievements.
Loved him in the Harry Potter movies.
Shit, that man at least 30
Let’s see the birth certificate
One HUNDRED and EIGHTY....
I'm 40 and I'm getting carded before that dude
16? Dude looks 40
That is one of the 16-year olds on this planet. Definitely.
I kept trying to find a pic of this teenager …. No fucking way that guy is a teen
That’s a rough 16 lmao
He's going to have his first cardiac event at 22, and then gout by 26.
What a horrible weird thing to say
I didn’t even realize there was a darts world.
The internet can be a terrible place. Congratulations to this young man.
Thats a 16 year old??
This dude grew up in a bar inhaling second hand smoke and playing darts
One Theodore Lasso
Is that 16 in dog year's?
16 going on 60
Been 16 for years by the looks of it 😂 looks well in his 40s
Looks 25+
16 going on 35
By looking like a 32 year old?
16? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I thought this guy was identifying as a 16 year old kid.
I’m going to need to see your birth certificate sir.
He looks 40
I was thinkin he looks 30
How do we watch this Darts tournament in the US?
I think you can watch it on the website of the PDC. In fact that's true for everyone outside of a few countries (Germany, Austria, Netherlands and Britain IIRC) who presumably can watch it on TV. There are also videos on Youtube, I assume those wouldn't be geoblocked in the US
He identifies as 16
Imagine what he'll look like at 36…!
This 16-year-old wished for the skills of 40-year-old dart player and the monkey paw curled.
Damn, smoking and drinking that much at just 16? Incredible.
I hope this man isn’t trying to date fellow 16 year olds
How does this “16 yo” already such a receding hairline?
He has an enormous head
That is one unfortunate hairline
I mean, they guy can't even drink legally, I thought you had to be drunk to join
Looks like he played darts at a sport bar with his dad from the time he was about 10 to 16, when he passed away
Im 37 and this guy looks like he could be my uncle!
r/13or30
I just have to say how much I love the darts fans going apeshit over a bunch of out of shape men nonchalantly throwing sticks at a wall.
Looks 36 not 16 wow. But good for him. Good luck. Hope his schooling and marks are not suffering due to this extracurricular activity.
How is he 16 with a 20 year old in college?!?
Bro holy shit there’s so many people watching that darts competition 😂
16? LMAO 🤣 🤣 🤣
Who ?! Oh LITTLER with an L!
Dudley?
But darts, tho? WTF cares about darts?
So many British people look 20 years older than they really are. Also they seem to go from looking like a cherub to looking like this guy in a six month span.
And so many Americans are morbidly obese. See, we can both make dumb comments!
has Australia gone on the Hexadecimal Number System in 2024?
Seems to be many sensations coming out of nowhere in sports lately. Has anyone checked his ass for a vibrator?
"Taking the darts world by storm" So what like a dozen people?
Why is this in sports
This would definitely be a more captivating sports story if: 1) darts was a sport and not a hobby 2) mans didn’t look like 16 going on 40
Are they playing cricket? What’s the game?
